    摘要: In a data recording and reproducing apparatus which records and reproduces a record medium in which at least two kinds of data having different data types can be recorded, data are read out from the record medium, and a digital watermark is detected from the data read out. The kind of data is determined depending upon whether the digital watermark is detected, and it is determined whether retry processing at the time of reading-out the data and verifying processing at the time of writing should be executed. The retry processing or the verifying processing are executed only for the data which is determined that the retry processing or the verifying processing should be executed. Therefore, in the case of data whose reading-out continuity is more important than reliability, the retry processing is omitted, so that time required for reading-out processing can be shortened. In the case of data whose recording continuity is more important than reliability, the verifying processing is omitted, so that time required for writing processing can be shortened.

    摘要: In a computer system having a recording/ reproducing device in which a DVD-RAM or the like is used as a recording medium, the CPU and the memory allocates logical blocks and record blocks, in multiple units of a common block for data to be written on a recording medium. The common blocks have a size of the least common multiple of the size of logic block and the size of record block, and the front of the allocated logical blocks coincides with the front of the allocated record blocks. The data is recorded on the recording medium by the recording/reproducing device. Hence, the data can be recorded in the most desirable manner even if the logical blocks and the record blocks defer in size.

    摘要: A ferrimagnetic resonator is disclosed which is stabilized upon temperature deviation and operable over a wide frequency range. The resonator comprises a ferrimagnetic thin film resonance element, a temperature detector for the resonance element a bias magnetic field generating coil, a compensation coil and a compensation circuit. The compensation circuit has a pre-coded compensation data upon operation temperature range and generates a compensation signal in response a detected temperature of the resonance element. The compensation signal is then fed to the compensation coil to generate an additional magnetic field to the resonance element thus the resonance frequency of the resonance element is stabilized upon temperature.

The measurement module is configured to measure an error rate of the recorded data of each predetermined data block. The detector configured to detect the first low-quality recorded data based on an error rate measurement result of the measurement module. The recorder is configured to correct an error in the first low-quality recorded data, and record error-corrected recorded data corresponding to the first low-quality recorded data at a spare recording position of the free area of the recording medium.
