Abstract:
Disclosed is a macro implementing method and apparatus that can perform a series of operations desired by a user through an interface between an ME (Mobile Equipment) and a SIM (Subscriber Identity Module) that support a SAT (Sim Application Toolkit). A combination of commands is provided so that a series of operations desired by the user can be performed in the ME using the SAT. The ME can provide a user-defined SAT service for automatically performing a series of operations desired by the user by combining and storing SAT commands so that a series of operations desired by the user can be performed. Thereafter a SIM application in the SIM can be successively performed using stored SAT commands. The terminal user directly constructs a single macro by tying several commands using the SAT, and thus operations that require repeated operations or complicated execution processes can successively be performed using a single execution input.
Abstract:
Provided are a method for treating a process solution and an apparatus for treating a substrate using the same. The apparatus includes a treating bath, a circulating line, a bypass line, and a filter. A process solution for a substrate is provided in the treating bath. The circulating line is connected to the treating bath, and the process solution circulates through the circulating line. The bypass line branches from a first position of the circulating line and couples at a second position of the circulating line. The filter is installed in a position of the circulating line between the first position and the second position.
Abstract:
An antenna of a plasma processing apparatus includes first and second wiring groups that respectively are electrically coupled to different RF power source. The first wiring group is formed on an internal region and an intermediate region, and the first wiring group transfers a power of a first RF power source from the intermediate region to the internal region. The second wiring group is formed on the intermediate region and an outer region. The second wiring group receives a power of a second RF power source from the intermediate region, or alternatively from the outer region. The frequency of the second RF power applied to the second wiring group is lower than the frequency of the first RF power applied to the first wiring group, thereby reducing the plasma loss at the outer region.
Abstract:
Provided is an apparatus and method for low distortion display in a portable communication terminal. In the apparatus, a comparator calculates an overall scaling coefficient. A dividing unit divides the source image into a predetermined number of parts and calculates individual frequency values of the divided image parts using Discrete Cosine Transform (DCT). An aspect ratio adjustment unit calculates individual scaling coefficients of the divided image parts using the overall scaling coefficient and the individual frequency values of the divided image parts, and scales the divided image parts according to the individual scaling coefficients respectively. A combining unit combines the scaled image parts into a single complete image. The display unit displays the single complete image combined in the combining unit.
Abstract:
A washing machine having a wobbling device. The wobbling device causes a wobbling action of a washboard without rotating the washboard during a washing mode operation, thus effectively washing the clothes. This wobbling device includes a vertical rotary shaft rotated by a washing shaft, and an inclined rotary shaft arranged above the vertical rotary shaft. A first rotary unit couples the inclined rotary shaft to the vertical rotary shaft, thus rotating the two shafts at the same time. An upper surface of the first rotary unit forms a first sloping surface inclined at an angle of inclination. A second rotary unit rotatably receives the inclined rotary shaft therein, and is provided at its lower surface with a second sloping surface corresponding to the first sloping surface of the first rotary unit. A plurality of pins control the relative positions of the first and second sloping surfaces, thus changing the position of the upper surface of the second rotary unit between a horizontal position and an inclined position. A washboard is arranged outside the second rotary unit, and is changed between a wobbling position and a leveled position in accordance with an operation of the pins.
Abstract:
A circuit for detecting the mirror signal from the output signal of an RF (radio frequency) in an optical disk drive, includes a first peak hold circuit for holding the peak value of the output signal of the RF amplifier to provide a first peak value, a first bottom hold circuit for holding the bottom value of the output signal of the RF amplifier to provide a first bottom value, a differential amplifier for amplifying the difference between the first and second peak values, a second peak hold circuit for holding the peak value of the output signal of the differential amplifier to provide a second peak value, a second bottom hold circuit for holding the bottom value of the output signal of the differential amplifier to provide a second bottom value, a centered value extractor for processing the second peak and bottom values to extract the centered value of the output signal of the RF amplifier, a comparator for comparing the centered value with the output signal of the differential amplifier to generate the mirror signal, and a hold time constant adjustment circuit connected between the centered value extractor and the second peak and bottom hold circuits to adjust the time constants of the second peak and bottom hold circuits according to a change of the level of the output signal of the RF amplifier.
Abstract:
Provided are a substrate supporting unit and a substrate treating apparatus using the substrate supporting unit. The substrate supporting unit comprises a base plate and a supporting portion formed on the base plate. The supporting portion comprises two supporting rods and a plurality of supporting members. The two supporting rods extend in a predetermined direction to be separated from each other. The plurality of supporting members is disposed to be separated from each other in the predetermined direction. Each of the supporting members connects the supporting rods.
