    摘要: An electrophotographic photoreceptor includes an electron transporting material in a charge-generating layer. The electrophotographic photoreceptor includes a conductive substrate; a charge generating layer formed on the conductive substrate and includes a charge generating material and electron transporting material; and a charge transporting layer formed on the charge generating layer and includes a charge transporting material, wherein the electron transporting material is a phenylazomethylene-cyclohexadienone derivative represented by the following Formula I: wherein R1 and R2 are independently selected from the group consisting of a substituted or unsubstituted C1-C20 alkyl, substituted or unsubstituted C1-C20 alkoxy, substituted or unsubstituted C6-C30 aryl, substituted or unsubstituted C7-C30 aralkyl and a halogen; A is selected from the group consisting of nitro, cyano and sulfone; 1 is an integer between 1 and 4; m is 0 or an integer between 1 and 4; and n is an integer between 1 and 5. The electrophotographic photoreceptor shows high sensitivity and low exposure potential.

    摘要: An electrophotographic photoreceptor includes a photosensitive layer including a charge generating material, a charge transporting material and a binder resin in a single layer, formed on an electrically conductive substrate. The single photosensitive layer includes an upper photosensitive layer portion and a lower photosensitive layer portion. The upper photosensitive layer portion has a higher concentration of the electron transporting material than that of the lower photosensitive layer portion. A method of preparing the electrophotographic photoreceptor, and an electrophotographic imaging apparatus employing the electrophotographic photoreceptor are provided. The single-layered type electrophotographic photoreceptor according to the present invention shows high sensitivity and excellent repetition stability of electrical properties, while still having advantages of a conventional single-layered photoreceptor, thereby being able to have highly practical applications.

    摘要: A semiconductor device has a structure of contacts whose size and pitch are finer that those that can be produced under the resolution provided by conventional photolithography. The contact structure includes a semiconductor substrate, an interlayer insulating layer disposed on the substrate, annular spacers situated in the interlayer insulating layer, first contacts surrounded by the spacers, and a second contact buried in the interlayer insulating layer between each adjacent pair of the first spacers. The contact structure is formed by forming first contact holes in the interlayer insulating layer, forming the spacers over the sides of the first contact holes to leave second contact holes within the first contact holes, etching the interlayer insulating layer from between the spacers using the first spacers as an etch mask to form third contact holes, and filling the first and second contact holes with conductive material. In this way, the pitch of the contacts can be half that of the first contact holes.
