    摘要: The invention relates to a process for producing improved water absorbing resin comprising the steps of treating water absorbing resin particles (A) with an aqueous solution of a water-soluble compound (B) and a crosslinking agent (C), reacting, and obtaining resin particles crosslinked in the surface vicinity; and a water absorbing resin obtained by this process possessing the absorption characteristics of an absorbency under a pressure-free state of 50 times or more to physiological saline solution, and an absorbency under the pressurized state of 30 times or more to physiological saline solution. The water-soluble compound (B) is at least one water-soluble compound selected from the group consisting of alkylene-oxide adducts of monofunctional alcohols (1), a monofunctional salts of organic acids (2), and lactams (3), and inert to (A) and (C); and the crosslinking agent (C) has two or more functional groups capable of reacting with (A). The obtained improved water absorbing resin possesses an excellent absorbing capacity whether under no pressure or under pressure, and does not form lumps when brought into contact with water. The initial absorption rate is superior, and the dry feeling of the gel after absorbing water is excellent. Therefore, it is used beneficially as a sanitary material, cold insulating material, water sealing materials, and many others.

    摘要: The present invention provides a semiconductor memory circuit capable of reducing current consumption at non-operation in a system equipped with a plurality of chips that share the use of a power supply, address signals and a data bus. The semiconductor memory circuit has an internal circuit which is capable of selectively performing the supply and stop of an operating voltage via switch means and includes a memory array. An input circuit, which receives a predetermined control signal therein, controls the supply and stop of the operating voltage by the switch means to reduce a DC current and a leak current when no memory operation is done, whereby low power consumption can be realized.

    摘要: A control apparatus for a heating appliance, such as a microwave oven, uses a microcomputer as its control means. A power switch for supplying power to heating means, such as a magnetron, is controlled by two switching devices, which switching devices are controlled by the microcomputer. When the user actuates a start switch, the first switching device is actuated by a control signal from the microcomputer, and thereafter, the second switching device is actuated to activate the power switch if the heating appliance is in proper operating condition. The microcomputer stops the entire heating operation whenever the heating means is not operating properly, by sensing an improper condition of the second switching device.

Information data relating to the handling of such a sensor element or instructing an appropriate heating sequence or process selected on the basis of the sensed state of the substance being heated is selectively read out from a voice data memory to be synthesized into voice information in a voice synthesizer such as a PARCOR synthesizer, and the voice information is announced to the user at a predetermined time. The user hearing the message can therefore manipulate the apparatus in such a way as to compensate for the inherent defect of the sensor element, and even a menu requiring a very delicate procedure can be successfully cooked without any heating failure.

    摘要: While there are contact joining and capacitance type switches for detecting an operation of a door handle, a problem that is to be solved by the invention is to solve problems of contact failure due to aging and a malfunction triggered by rain drops. According to the invention, a piezoelectric sensor (4) has such flexibility as to be annexed to a door handle (3), whereby a minute displacement of the door handle (3) can be detected with high sensitivity. Consequently, a sufficient signal output can be obtained only through a simple touch to the door handle (3), whereby a touch or contact to the door handle (3) can be detected. In addition, since electrodes are not exposed to the outside, the piezoelectric sensor (4) is made difficult to be affected by disturbance, and dust, rain, snow and the like which come to adhere thereto. Furthermore, since the piezoelectric sensor (4) can be deformed with suppleness, there are imposed few limiting conditions on a setting place and a space where to dispose the piezoelectric sensor (4) is diminished.
