摘要： An optical fiber distribution apparatus of the type in which optical feeder cables are connected to optical distribution cables through connectors. The optical fiber distribution apparatus includes a frame having a front portion; a plurality of distribution panels each having a free front edge; pivoting mechanisms for pivotally mounting respective distribution panels to the frame with regular vertical intervals for pivotable movement about a horizontal axis: and locking mechanisms for releasably locking each of the distribution panels selectively at one of both a normal position, where each distribution panel is parallel to the other with the free edge thereof positioned substantially not higher than the rotation axis thereof, and a raised position, where the free front edge of each distribution panel is raised above the rotation axis thereof for accessing to a distribution panel just below.

摘要： A steering damper comprises two oil chambers (R1, R2) delimited in a housing (1, 7) by a partitioning member (2, 8), and a damping valve (2a, 2b) which imposes a drag on a flow of working oil between the two oil chambers (R1, R2). By further comprising an oil passage (5) connecting the two oil chambers (R1, R2), a pair of check valves (5a, 5b) which prevents oil flow from each of the two oil chambers (R1, R2) into the oil passage (5), and a bypass passage (6) connected to the oil passage (5) between the pair of check valves (5a, 5b) and having an opening that opens onto the interior of the housing (1) in the vicinity of the neutral position of the movable partitioning member (2, 8), the steering damper enables the movable partitioning member (2, 8) to return quickly towards the neutral position.

摘要： A polymerizable composition containing;(A) 100 parts by weight of a vinylbenzyl compound of the formula (I), ##STR1## wherein each of R.sup.1 and R.sup.2 is independently a halogen atom, each of h and i is independently 0, 1 or 2, each of X.sup.1, X.sup.2 and X.sup.3 is independently an oxygen atom or a sulfur atom, and each of j, k and m is 0 or 1, provided that when k is 0, j is 0, that when m is 0, each of j and k is 0, that when j is 0 and when each of k and m is 1, X.sup.1 and X.sup.2 cannot be sulfur atoms at the same time, and that when each of m, k and j is 1, X.sup.1, X.sup.2 and X.sup.3 cannot be sulfur atoms at the same time,and(B) 0.1 to 20 parts by weight of 2,4-diphenyl-4-methyl-1-pentene.The polymerizable composition can give a molded article which is free from coloring in heat treatment, has sufficient properties as an ophthalmic lens such as a high refractive index, a high Abbe's number and a low specific gravity, is excellent in transparency, light resistance, heat resistance and impact resistance, and is therefore suitable as an organic glass such as an ophthalmic lens and a lens for an optical device.

摘要： A photopolymerization initiator comprising (A) an α-diketone compound such as camphorquinone, (B1) an aliphatic amine compound such as triethanolamine or N-methyldiethanolamine, (B2) an aromatic amine compound such as ethyl p-dimethylaminobenzoate or N,N-dimethyl p-toluidine, and (C) a triazine compound substituted with a trihalomethyl group, such as 2,4,6-tris(trichloromethyl)-s-triazine or 2-phenyl-4,6-bis(trichloromethyl)-s-triazine. The photopolymerization initiator remains stable against the environmental light such as the indoor illumination light from a fluorescent lamp or the dental light illuminating the interior of the oral cavity, is excellently handled, is quickly cured by the irradiation with an intense light emitted from a light irradiator for polymerization, provides a cured body having excellent properties, can be stably preserved even at high temperatures, and is very useful as a dental composite resin.
