    摘要: Provided is a process for producing a single-walled carbon nanotube on a substrate on which a lot of fine particles comprising at least one kind of a catalyst metal are formed in a reaction apparatus maintained in vacuum, wherein at least one kind of fullerene C2n's (n is an integer of n≧18) is sublimated at a prescribed temperature or higher to produce a fullerene gas in which a partial pressure is controlled; the fullerene gas is transported on the substrate heated at a sublimation temperature of the fullerene or higher; and the fullerene gas is brought into contact with the catalyst metal fine particles described above to produce a single-walled carbon nanotube. The vacuum degree is preferably 0.5 Torr or less, and the sublimation temperature is preferably 700° C. or higher. The substrate has a thin film of a porous substance or an inorganic oxide, and transition metal catalyst fine particles having a particle diameter of 0.5 to 10 nm are formed on the above thin film.

    摘要: An eye-refractometer includes an objective optic having a first optical path, an apertured mirror for dividing the first optical path into a second optical path and a third optical path, a mask disposed in the second optical path and having linear marks orientated in at least three directions, a radiation source for illuminating the mask, a mask disposed in the third optical path and having liner detecting areas orientated in at least three directions and photocells arranged behind the respective areas. Improvements in this eye-refractometer comprise an apertured plate disposed between the apertured mirror and one of above said masks and an annular apertured plate disposed between said apertured mirror and the other mask. Another improvement is found in that the length of the linear detecting area is shorter than the length of optimum focused images of the linear marks.

    摘要: An automatic welding apparatus comprising a workpiece fixture carried by a moving member for rotation about a horizontal axis extending in a back and forth direction, said moving member being provided on a carriage for sliding movement in a lateral direction, said carriage being provided for sliding movement in said back and forth direction, and a torch fixture carried by an arm for rotation about a vertical axis, said arm being provided for sliding movement in the vertical direction. In another embodiment, the workpiece fixture is provided only for rotation about a horizontal axis extending in the back and forth direction, and the torch fixture is carried by the arm for rotation about the vertical axis, which arm is provided at the end of a column for sliding movement in said lateral direction, which column is provided on a sliding member for sliding movement in the vertical direction, which sliding member is provided on a guide for sliding movement in said back and forth direction. The movement of these components is controlled in an electronic manner in accordance with a preset, i.e. predetermined data. The degree of freedom of the movement of the workpiece and torch is thus divided into both workpiece and torch fixtures and as a result welding a workpiece of complicated shape is possible in a better attitude of the torch and the workpiece.

    摘要: Disclosed are a method for producing a carbon nanotube (CNT) whereby, in the local synthesis of CNTs, a high resolution, a low cost, easiness in production and mass production capability can be established at the same time; and a two-dimensionally patterned CNT obtained thereby. Specifically disclosed are a method for producing a two-dimensionally patterned CNT which comprises: A) a step for preparing a substrate; B) a step for forming a first two-dimensional pattern, which consists of hydrophobic surface and hydrophilic surface, on the substrate by means of 1) masking and electromagnetic wave irradiation, or 2) electron beam irradiation; C) a step for applying a catalyst-containing solution to the substrate having the first two-dimensional pattern and forming a second two-dimensional pattern depending on the presence or absence of the catalyst; and D) a step for forming by ACCVD a two-dimensional pattern of the CNT on the thus obtained substrate; a substrate; and a structure comprising a two-dimensionally patterned CNT on the aforesaid substrate.
