    摘要: The present invention relates to an electronic device that suppresses reduction in reception sensitivity and occurrence of distortion when IC cards are used while stacked. A loop antenna equipped on the IC card has up to four turns, and is designed so that one turn, for example, has a first linear portion, a first curved line portion, a second linear portion, and a second curved line portion. When two electronic devices having a first loop antenna and a second loop antenna, respectively, are stacked onto one another, the corners of the loop antennas do not overlap. For example, the corner formed by first curved line portion and the second linear portion of the first loop antenna is overlapped with the first curved line portion of the second loop antenna. The first and second loop antennas are shaped such that when two electronic devices are stacked, their respective loop antennas are superimposed in the opposite direction so that the corners are not overlapped and the amount of overlap as a whole is reduced. The present invention may be applied to an IC card for receiving/transmitting data under non-contact state.

    摘要: Can end disks have annular, curled rims on which a sealing composition is applied as a coat to form airtight seals when the end disks are subsequently attached to can bodies. The sealing composition is sprayed onto the curled rim of each can end disk by an overlying spray nozzle while the disk is being rotated on a rotary rest in a coating machine. For detecting uncoated regions on the curled rim of the can end disk, a photodetector is positioned over the rim of the disk on the rotary rest, with a preassigned angular spacing between the photodetector and the spray nozzle. The detection of uncoated regions is essentially concurrent with the application of the sealing composition. Since the output from the photodetector represents a nonfaulty uncoated region (i.e. a region not yet coated), in addition to a possible faulty uncoated region (i.e. a region accidentally left uncoated), a signal generator such as a proximity detector is provided for invalidating the photodetector output portion representative of the nonfaulty uncoated region. Any can end disk having a faulty uncoated region is rejected while being subsequently conveyed toward the next processing station.

However, when each block is processed in parallel to speed up the entire processes, moving vector information and so forth of the predetermined adjacent blocks may not be always obtained. In this case, moving vector information and so forth of neighbor blocks instead of adjacent blocks are pseudo-used to determine the mode of the block without need to wait until moving vector information and so forth of adjacent blocks have been computed.
