The line pressure controller sets the line pressure in HEV mode to a pressure level required for the engagement of the second clutch, and sets the line pressure in EV mode to a higher line pressure than the line pressure in HEV mode.

The apparatus further includes a density fluctuation meter including a rotary position detector, a density fluctuation detector, and a density fluctuation storage; a density fluctuation extractor unit including a first extractor, a second extractor, and a density fluctuation storage; and a control table generator unit including a control table generator and a control table storage, so that based on the control table stored in the control table storage, the voltage to be applied to the developing device is controlled and the toner image is output.

The electronic device executes a function which is associated with a display object corresponding to a tap position on the touch-screen display. The electronic device includes at least one microphone, a speech processing module configured to process an input speech signal from the at least one microphone, and a translation result output module configured to output a translation result of a target language. The translation result of the target language is obtained by recognizing and machine-translating the input speech signal which is processed by the speech processing module. The speech processing module detects a tap sound signal in the input speech signal, the tap sound signal being produced by tapping the touch-screen display, and corrects the input speech signal in order to reduce an influence of the detected tap sound signal upon the input speech signal.

At a timing at which a difference of the development bias from the adjustment bias value in the periodic fluctuation range is less than or equal to a predetermined threshold value, the bias control unit performs switching from the process of constantly maintaining the output of the development bias at the adjustment bias value to a process of periodically changing the output of the development bias based on development bias control data.
