    摘要: An air flow measuring device takes in part of intake air flowing through an intake passage. The device includes a housing and a sensor. The housing defines a bypass flow passage through which taken-in intake air passes and which has an outlet that opens on an outer wall of the housing. The sensor is accommodated in the bypass passage to produce an electrical signal as a result of heat transfer between taken-in intake air and the sensor. The outlet of the bypass passage includes vertical and non-vertical openings. The vertical opening opens toward a downstream side of a flow of intake air in the intake passage and is provided perpendicular to the flow of intake air. The non-vertical opening is provided non-perpendicularly to the flow of intake air in the intake passage. The outlet is a continuous stretch of opening where the vertical and non-vertical openings are continuously formed.

    摘要: A hinge structure for electronic apparatus such as a word processor, a personal computer and the like having a cover is provided. The hinge structure can meet the demand for making an electronic apparatus thin and light in weight and also can reduce the manufacturing cost of the equipment. The cover can rotate about a hinge 14 with respect to the main body of the equipment and can be maintained at a desired angular position. The hinge comprises a bush 51, a first hinge section 14a and second hinge sections 14b and 14c. The bush 51 comprises a first rotary section 52 and a second rotary section 53 which is rotatably coupled to the first rotary section. When the second rotary section is rotated about the shaft 52a of the first rotary section, a frictional force generates between a concave portion 54 of the second rotary section. The first hinge section is provided at one end of the main body of the electronic apparatus to fix the first rotary section while the second hinge section is provided at one end of the cover to fix the second rotary section.

    摘要: A holder for a pager, handy phone or similar portable apparatus includes a body for removably receiving the apparatus and a clip removably mounted to the body. A guide is formed on one surface of the body and includes a pair of parallel rails. An engaging portion is included in the clip and includes a pair of ridges slidingly engageable with the rails. A locking device is provided on the guide and engaging portion for selectively locking or unlocking them to or from each other. The locking device is implemented by a recess and a lug respectively positioned between one of the rails and ridges and between the other of the rails and ridges. A slit surrounds the lug while the lug is connected to one side of the wall of the slit and elastically deformable toward and away from the recess. The recess and lug mate with each other when the engaging portion is slid into the guide.

An upstream end surface of the tube body has an inlet of the bypass passage, and a downstream end surface thereof has an outlet of the bypass passage. An outer diameter of an outer peripheral surface of the tube body has a smallest dimension at the upstream end surface, and a largest dimension at the downstream end surface. Furthermore, the outer peripheral surface of the tube body has an upstream portion extending downstream from the upstream end surface in a predetermined range, and the upstream portion of the outer peripheral surface is a convex curve surface in which the outer diameter is increased by a ratio from the upstream end surface toward downstream.

    摘要: A U-shaped bypass passage is provided in an intake pipe. A part of air flowing in the intake pipe is introduced into the bypass passage. The bypass passage is arranged substantially perpendicularly to a primary air flow direction in the intake pipe. A flow meter element is disposed in the bypass passage for measuring air flow amount. Turbulence reduction plates are integrally formed with the bypass passage at an upper side and a lower side of an air inlet thereof. The turbulence reduction plates are arranged substantially in parallel with the primary air flow direction in the intake pipe, and substantially perpendicularly to an air flow direction in the bypass passage. Even when a secondary air flow arises around the air inlet of the bypass passage, the turbulence reduction plates shut the secondary air flow, thereby reducing an influence of the secondary air flow.
