    摘要: A touch panel system includes a touch panel having sense lines, and drive lines which intersect the sense lines and form capacitance with the sense lines, a touch panel controller for processing signals of the sense lines, and a drive line driving circuit for driving the drive lines in parallel. The touch panel controller includes a subtracting section for finding differences in signals between the sense lines adjacent to each other, a decoding section for calculating a distribution of differences between the capacitances by calculating an inner product of code sequences for driving the drive lines in parallel and difference output sequences which correspond to the code sequences, a touch detecting section for obtaining touch information based on the distribution of differences between the capacitances calculated by the decoding section, and a region setting section for setting an effective region in the touch panel based on the touch information.

    摘要: A touch panel system in which power consumption is reduced and detection sensitivity is enhanced, a controller for the touch panel system, and a method of operating the system. Touch panel system includes status detecting portion having status signal generating portions generating a status signal indicative of a close status of an indicator, a position calculating portion processing the status signal, thereby calculating a position of the indicator on a detecting surface, and a region setting portion for updating an effective region set in the detecting surface P based on the position of the indicator which is calculated by the position calculating portion. A first operation causes the status signal generating portions SL and DL to selectively generate a status signal and a second operation causes the position calculating portion to selectively process the status signals generated by the status signal generating portions SL and DL.

    摘要: A touch panel system can accurately detect a position of an indicator as distinguished from noise, an electronic information device, and an indicator position detecting method are provided. An indicator position detecting portion detects a position of an indicator, which is in contact with or close to a detecting surface P, based on either one of a first or a second capacitance signal. The first capacitance signal is obtained in a first driving mode in which a first drive signal is applied to first signal lines and a first sense signal appearing on second signal lines is applied to a sense signal processing portion. The second capacitance signal is obtained in a second driving mode in which a second drive signal is applied to the second signal lines, and a second sense signal appearing on the first signal lines is applied to the sense signal processing portion.

The invention provides a vinyl chloride-based resin latex contains a copolymer containing a vinyl chloride and an epoxy-group-containing vinyl or contains vinyl chloride, an epoxy-group-containing vinyl, and a carboxylic acid vinyl ester, wherein a content of the epoxy-group-containing vinyl is 0.1% by weight or more but less than 3% by weight, and wherein the latex contains no surfactant, and has a solid concentration of 25% by weight or more; a process for producing the latex; and a thermal transfer image-receiving sheet obtained using the latex.
