The first ripping step (E) tears off a side edge strip along the first groove formed by the first grooving step (B) to form a first edge portion having a gradually changed sectional shape. At least the first grooving step (B) and the first ripping step (E) are performed contiguously with the roll-forming step (A) by utilizing the sheet or product conveyance force provided in the roll-forming step (A).

摘要： An outside mirror for a vehicle has a ultrasonic vibrator and a heating member in order to quickly remove the foreign substances from the entire surface of a mirror member. The ultrasonic vibrator is rigidly fixed to a supporting member. The supporting member is rigidly fixed to outer edges of the mirror member. A space is provided between the mirror member and the supporting member. The heating member is installed in the space. The ultrasonic vibrator atomizes water drops on the mirror member. The heating member melts ice, frost or other foreign substances on the mirror member. The ice, frost or the other foreign substances which are melted by the heating member are removed by the ultrasonic vibrator.

摘要： The vehicle mirror of the present invention is made such that a supporting member is arranged with a predetermined spacing in respect to the rear mirror member of an anti-halation mirror member having the anti-halation device such as liquid crystal or electrochromic element or the like between the front transparent member and the rear mirror member getting a reflection as the mirror, the piezo-electric vibrator generating vibration is fixed to the supporting member, a spacing between the rear mirror member and the supporting member is held by the spacer member and then the vibration of the piezo-electric vibrator is tansmitted to the front transparent member. The front transparent member is exposed from the opening of the holder and at the same time the circumferential edge of the anti-halation mirror member is held by the holding part. With such an arrangement above, a function of anti-halation and another function of removing water droplets can be provided.

摘要： A pressure sensitive switch includes a first insulating film provided on one surface thereof with an electrode sheet and an insulating spacer having one surface connected to one surface of the first insulating film and a thickness. The insulating spacer is formed with a plurality of holes, each having a diameter larger than the thickness and a plurality of air-vents, each having a width which is narrower than the diameter of the holes in such a manner that the holes and the air-vents are in mutual air communication and extend through the insulating spacer along its thickness direction. A second insulating film is provided on one surface thereof with another electrode sheet and one surface of the second insulating film is connected to the other surface of the insulating spacer. A cord has a first wire and a second wire connected to the electrode sheet of the first insulating film and the electrode sheet of the second insulating film, respectively. A plurality of air passages extend through the first insulating film along its thickness direction and are in air communication with the air-vents and exposed to an exterior atmosphere.

摘要： A regulator for a power window having a safety function for preventing an object from being caught in a closing power window includes a driving unit for raising and lowering the window glass of a vehicle and a driven unit which receives power from the driving unit. When frictional resistance corresponding to relative displacement between the driving and driven units is less than a fixed value during descent of the window glass and exceeds this fixed during ascent of the window glass, the ascending window glass is reversed and made to descend. When the amount of an increase in current to the driving unit during ascent of the window glass increases in a case where the sliding resistance has exceeded a fixed value even once during descent of the window glass, the ascending window glass is reversed and made to descend.

The oscillation means may, advantageously, be adapted to cause bending vibrations to the vibrator by lateral effect.

摘要： A vehicle retractable mirror structure comprising an arm member mounted on a vehicle body for a pivotable movement relative to the vehicle body between an operative position wherein the arm member projects sidewardly with respect to the vehicle body and a retracted position wherein the arm member is positioned close to the vehicle body, and a mirror assembly mounted on the arm member for a pivotable movement with respect to the arm member.
