    摘要: An information processing device includes: a nonvolatile memory having a program area storing a program for booting a system, and backup areas each storing a backup program identical in content to the program; a process executing unit that executes the program to perform a boot process of the system; an error detection unit that performs error detection on the program in parallel with the boot process; and a reboot unit that, when the error detection unit detects an error in the program, performs a recovery process to replace the program with one of the backup programs, and reboots the system using the replaced program. In the recovery process, the reboot unit refers to history information indicating a history of replacement of the program with the backup programs, selects the backup program used for the replacement from among the backup programs, and replaces the program with the selected backup program.

Access operation identification information such as reproducing identification information 225 indicating whether or not information recorded in the user data area 222 of the optical disc can be reproduced under the reproducing conditions of the optical disc driving apparatus is recorded in the lead-in area 222. The optical disc driving apparatus reads this type of access operation identification information, compares it with access operation identification information possessed by the optical disc driving apparatus, and if they do not correspond, does not carry out access operations by the optical head to the user data area 222, because reproducing or recording compatibility with the optical disc 201 is lacking.

    摘要: A slave device (20), which is a communication device, receives and analyzes commands, and returns the results to a master device (10). During the command analysis period, an IIC control unit (205) and a CPU (210), which form a control unit, control an SCL control unit (201) so as to stop an SCL signal. When the value of a timer (206) is equal to or less than a threshold value, transmit data are saved in a transmission FIFO (203), control for stopping the SCL signal is canceled, and in synchronization with the SCL signal, an SDA control unit (202) transmits the data saved in the transmission FIFO (203) to the master device (10). When the value of the timer (206) exceeds the threshold value, control for stopping the SCL signal is canceled, the clock control unit is placed in a state to receive the clock signal, and the SDA control unit (202) is placed in a state to receive a slave address indicating a communication device that operates in the slave mode.
