    摘要: There is disclosed an electric wire joining method wherein, for connecting a crimp terminal (10) to electric wires (11, 12), invading projections (10b, 10c) of the crimp terminal (10) break through insulative coating portions (11a, 12a) of the electric wires (11, 12) into contact with core wire portions (11b, 12b) of the electric wires (11, 12), and the invading projections (10b, 10c) are ultrasonically welded to the core wire portions (11b, 12b) of the electric wires. The electric wire joining method necessitates no stripping process of the insulative coating portions (11a, 12a) from the electric wires (11, 12) but provides stable electrical connection.

    摘要: A manufacturing method is provided that produces a tubular metallic shell for spark plugs. The metallic shell has a tapered part in the outer periphery to provide a seal. The tapered part can be formed into a desired shape by cold forging operation. A first processed part has a first tapered part with a tapering angle A formed in the first processing step. In the second processing step, the first tapered part is transformed into a second tapered part having a tapering angle B. This is accomplished by utilizing a stepped inner cavity with a second molding die with a tapered bearing surface having a tapering angle B which is greater than the tapering angle A. In the third processing step, the second tapered part is transformed into a third tapered part with a tapering angle C. This is accomplished by utilizing a stepped inner cavity with a third molding die with a tapered bearing surface having a tapering angle C which is smaller than the tapering angle B. It also utilizes a third punch having a tip part whose outer diameter is smaller than the outer diameter of the small diameter foot part of the second processed part.

In the printing control device, a receiving unit receives a print request. A detection unit detects that a preceding printing task is active when the print request is received. An interleave printing control unit controls the interleaving print function such that, when a print mode of the received print request is different from a print mode of the active preceding printing task, execution of the interleaving print function is inhibited, and only when the print mode of the received print request is the same as the print mode of the active preceding printing task, the execution of the interleaving print operation is allowed.

    摘要: To improve the accuracy of the automatic adjustment of a spark plug and the adjustment of the eccentricity of a multiple-electrode spark plug, a spark plug holder 2 for supporting and fixing a lower portion of the multiple-electrode spark plug 1 and a positioning device 3 for supporting and positioning an upper portion of the multiple-electrode spark plug 1 are provided to an adjustor for automatically regulating the gap and the eccentricity of the multiple-electrode spark plug having a center electrode and at least one ground electrode. A projector 4 projects light to the multiple-electrode spark plug 1 from above the positioning device 3. A CCD camera 5 produces images of the spark gap/eccentricity of the multiple-electrode spark plug 1. An image processor 6 executes image processing for inputting the images from the CCD camera 5 and determining the spark gap/eccentricity. A hammering device 7 conducts a hammering operation for imparting a predetermined impact working pressure to the ground electrode on the basis of the spark gap/eccentricity. The image processing and the hammering operation are repeated until the spark gap/eccentricity are below predetermined values, respectively, so as to automatically regulate the spark gap/eccentricity.
