    摘要: High-response and high-power electromagnetically driven flow rate control valve with flange portion forming an attracting surface on an anchor, a first peripheral surface portion having a diameter smaller than the flange portion, and a cylindrical non-magnetic area opposing an outer peripheral surface of the flange portion with a third clearance interposed therebetween are provided, and a first fluid trap portion communicating with the back pressure chamber via the third clearance is provided. When the diameter of the flange portion is enlarged in order to enlarge the cross-sectional area of the attracting surface, fuel that is displaced by the anchor is increased, but is partly absorbed in the first fluid trap portion, so that the fuel passing through the fuel channel does not increase in comparison with fuel before the diameter of the flange portion is enlarged. Accordingly, the cross-sectional area of the attracting surface may be enlarged.

    摘要: A high-pressure fuel supply pump which has no probability of discontinuity of a thin film of fuel at a sliding portion even when the fuel is not needed to be compressed to a high pressure is obtained. Two low-pressure fuel ports are provided on the high-pressure fuel supply pump in addition to a high-pressure discharge port to a high-pressure fuel capacity chamber. One of the two low-pressure fuel ports is connected to a low-pressure fuel capacity chamber and remaining one is connected to a low-pressure fuel supply pump. Accordingly, the interior of the high-pressure fuel supply pump is always filled with fresh fuel even in a mode in which a high-pressure fuel injecting valve does not inject fuel and only a low-pressure fuel injection valve injects fuel, so that a temperature rise of a plunger and a cylinder is prevented and locking of the plunger and the cylinder can be prevented.

    摘要: A rotating shaft and a drive shaft are used in an air intake apparatus for an internal combustion engine. At one end portion of the rotating shaft and the drive shaft a sphere portion and a projection portion are formed, and another end portion of the rotating shaft and the drive shaft a cup portion and a faucet portion are formed. The sphere portion is inserted to the cup portion and further the projection portion is engaged with the faucet portion, thereby a universal joint is formed. Since a connection structure between the rotating shaft and the drive shaft is constituted with few component elements, a cost reduction in the air intake apparatus for the internal combustion engine can be improved.

    摘要: In order to provide a welded structure of and welding method for two metallic parts fitted together at a tubular section in a high-pressure fuel supply pump, an electric current is supplied to any of the welding connection surfaces formed between a pump housing and cylinder in a high-pressure fuel supply pump, between the pump housing and an installation flange, between the pump housing and an intake or discharge joint, between the pump housing and a pulsation-absorbing damper cover, between the pump housing and a relief valve mechanism, and between the pump housing and an electromagnetically driven intake valve mechanism. The two sections are pressed against each other to generate, along the connection surface, a plastic flow not causing melting or fusion due to heat, and form a diffusion-weld region at the connection surface by using the plastic flow and the application of the pressure.
