    摘要: One embodiment of the present disclosure may take the form of a watering device for animals with continuously flowing water to attract the attention of the animal. To create flowing water, a water screw device may be utilized within the watering device to move water from a lower bowl of the device to an upper bowl. The water screw may be configured such that the electrical components of the water screw remain separated from the water of the watering dish to remove the possibility of electrocution of the water. Rather, only the mechanical components of the water screw device may contact the water of the watering device while the electrical motor of the water screw remains safely out of the water.

    摘要: A high frequency superconducting device structure is disclosed which comprises an alkaline earth fluoride substrate with a magnesium oxide lower buffer layer on the alkaline earth substrate and an upper buffer layer epitaxial template layer on the magnesium oxide layer for providing a template for epitaxial growth of a high temperature superconducting film on the upper buffer layer, providing reduced dielectric and conducting losses at high frequencies. The disclosed structure may be incorporated into a multi-chip module (MCM) for providing very high speed interconnections.

    摘要: An input generating device for use in a hand held electronic device having a housing includes a core formed in a planar and semicircular in shape, forming a peripheral edge extending around said core and a track slidably engaged with the peripheral side edge. A curved portion of the peripheral edge extends outwardly from the housing allowing access thereto by the user. A first input is generated by sliding movement of the flexible track relative to the core. First input detection means, such as a turns encoder switch detects the sliding movement of the track. The core is depressibly mounted within the housing, generating a second input when the core is depressed. A second input detection means, such as a tactile contact switch detects depression of the core.

    摘要: An improved handheld electronic device includes an improved battery compartment door having a miniature camera disposed thereon. The battery compartment door with its camera advantageously does not alter the form factor of the handheld electronic device and can easily be replaced with a similar battery door without a camera which, when installed on the handheld electronic device, will provide the same form factor. A battery compartment of the handheld electronic device is configured to be larger than required to accommodate a battery of the handheld electronic device in order to also accommodate the camera of the battery compartment door.
