Abstract: A display device including a pair of substrates, a display medium formed between the pair of substrates and including charged particles encapsulated therebetween such that an image is displayed by moving the charged particles electrophoretically, a drive unit that applies a voltage to the display medium, and a display control unit that controls a display of the display medium. After data communication for rewriting a display of a display device commences and before the data communication ends, the display control unit commences rewriting using a first waveform, and after completion of the data communication and after the rewriting using the first waveform, the display control unit executes rewriting using a second waveform.

Abstract: A display device including a pair of substrates having surfaces facing each other and electrodes formed on the surfaces, respectively, a display medium having a memory effect and formed between the pair of substrates, and a drive unit that applies a drive voltage to the display medium. The display medium includes charged particles encapsulated therein such that movement of the charged particles based on a voltage applied by the drive unit provides display, and the charged particles include first particles for displaying a first color with application of a first voltage, second particles for displaying a second color with application of a second voltage having a polarity different from a polarity of the first voltage, and third particles for displaying a third color with application of a third voltage which has the same polarity as the polarity of the first voltage and an absolute value smaller than an absolute value of the first voltage.

Abstract: An electrical storage device terminal film which is arranged covering part of an outer peripheral surface of a metal terminal that is electrically connected to an electrical storage device body forming an electrical storage device. The terminal film includes a first outermost layer including a first insulating layer, a second outermost layer including a second insulating layer, and an amorphous insulating filler which is added to at least one of the first and second insulating layers. The amorphous insulating filler is arranged with a part thereof being protruded from an outer surface of the insulating layer.
