Abstract: The invention provides a heat-shrinkable polyester film characterized by (1) a hot-water heat shrinkage rate in a width direction of the film of 40%-80% by immersing the film in hot-water at 90° C. for 10 seconds; (2) a hot-water heat shrinkage rate in a longitudinal direction of the film of 5%-10% by immersing the film in hot-water at 90° C. for 10 seconds; (3) a maximum peak height Sp on at least one surface of the film of 0.8-3.0 μm; (4) an arithmetical mean height Sa on at least one surface of the film of 0.03-0.2 μm; and (5) a degassing time for removing air from between the two identical polyester films is 14 seconds or less, wherein the films are formed by stacking a front surface of the one film on a back surface of the other film.

Abstract: The invention provides a heat-shrinkable polyester film roll containing a paper tube and a heat-shrinkable polyester film wound around the paper tube to form the heat-shrinkable polyester film roll, wherein (1) the film winding length is 2000-20000 m, (2) the film width is 400-2500 mm, (3) the film thickness is 5-30 μm, (4) unevenness in thickness in the film widthwise direction in a film roll surface layer part is 12% or less, (5) the paper tube has an inner diameter of 3 inches, a difference in clearance of the paper tube in a widthwise direction after removal of the film from the film roll is 0.5 mm or less, and a flat compressive strength of the paper tube after removal of the film is 1700 N/100 mm or more, and (6) the average value of winding hardness in the widthwise direction in the film roll surface layer part is 500-850.

Abstract: The inventive label is prepared from a polyester with an intrinsic viscosity of 0.58 dl/g or more. The label has a base film with a thickness of 8-30 μm and a difference in specific heat capacity ΔCp between temperatures lower and higher than Tg of 0.2 J/(g·° C.) or more. The label has a tensile elongation at break of 5% or more in both a main shrinkage direction and an orthogonal direction. A difference between the absorbancy ratio (absorbancy at 1340 cm−1/absorbancy at 1410 cm−1) in the main shrinkage direction of the label and the absorbancy ratio in the direction orthogonal to the main shrinkage direction of the label is 0.2 or more. The label has a difference between a maximum value and a minimum value of a length in a vertical direction of the label of 3 mm or less.

Abstract: The invention provides a heat-shrinkable polyester film in which the differences in physical properties in the width direction are reduced even if the film has a small thickness. The heat-shrinkable polyester film has a main shrinkage direction in a width direction of the film and has (1) a thickness of 6-27 μm; (2) a maximum value of the molecular orientation angle of 5 degrees or less; (3) a hot-water shrinkage at 90° C. in the width direction of the film 40-85%; (4) a difference between a maximum value and a minimum value of the hot-water shrinkage at 90° C. in the width direction of the film of 2% or less; and (5) a difference between a maximum value and a minimum value of the maximum shrinkage stress at 90° C. in the width direction of the film of less than 0.3 MPa.

Abstract: The invention provides a heat-shrinkable polyester-based film roll obtained by winding a heat-shrinkable polyester-based film with a shrinkage ratio of 30% or more in a film main shrinkage direction in hot water at 90° C. for 10 seconds. The film roll has a winding length of 2000-25000 m and a width of 400-2500 mm. The film has a thickness of 5-40 μm. In thickness unevenness in a width direction of the film on a surface layer of the film roll, there are positions having concave thickness patterns, and in a concave portion that has a maximum thickness difference (maximum concave portion), thickness unevenness in the maximum concave portion, which is obtained from the maximum thickness difference in the maximum concave portion and an average thickness of the film is 10% or less. The winding hardness of the surface layer of the film roll is 400-800.
