Abstract: A ridesharing management system which enables a plurality of users using a ridesharing service to share a vehicle as passengers, wherein the vehicle is comprised of a hybrid vehicle, and a boundary is established between the inside of an engine restricted zone in which operation of an internal combustion engine is restricted and the outside of the engine restricted zone. It is predicted whether the SOC amount of the battery will become less than a setting value during travel in the engine restricted zone if traveling through a stop in the engine restricted zone and a stop outside the engine restricted zone due to a pick-up request or drop-off request from a user. A route order that does not result in the SOC amount of the battery becoming less than the setting value during travel in the engine restricted zone is suggested.

Abstract: The start system related to the present invention is for an internal combustion engine of a hybrid vehicle. The hybrid vehicle is configured to use at least one of a differential mechanism and a transmission gear mechanism to temporarily change an engine speed in starting of the internal combustion engine. The start system includes an electronic control unit. The electronic control unit is configured to determine a duration for which the engine speed needs to be changed in starting of the internal combustion engine. The electronic control unit is configured to determine a degree of change in the engine speed in starting of the internal combustion engine. The electronic control unit is configured to determine whether the engine speed needs to be changed by changing the gear position of the transmission gear mechanism based on the degree and the duration.

Abstract: The control apparatus of the present invention is applied to a hybrid vehicle including an internal combustion engine that is capable of changing over its combustion state between lean combustion and stoichiometric combustion. The control apparatus executes noise suppression control by limiting the operating point of the internal combustion engine to be upon a noise suppression line for lean combustion or to be upon a noise suppression line for stoichiometric combustion, so that the noise generated by a power transmission mechanism is suppressed. When changing over from lean combustion to stoichiometric combustion during execution of noise suppression control, the control apparatus of the present invention changes the air/fuel ratio after changing the operating point of the internal combustion engine from one point to a point that is more toward the lower torque side of the noise suppression line. And, after change of the air/fuel ratio, the control apparatus transitions the operating point of the internal combustion engine more toward the lower torque side than the noise suppression line.
