    Abstract: A ridesharing management system which enables a plurality of users using a ridesharing service to share a vehicle as passengers, wherein the vehicle is comprised of a hybrid vehicle, and a boundary is established between the inside of an engine restricted zone in which operation of an internal combustion engine is restricted and the outside of the engine restricted zone. It is predicted whether the SOC amount of the battery will become less than a setting value during travel in the engine restricted zone if traveling through a stop in the engine restricted zone and a stop outside the engine restricted zone due to a pick-up request or drop-off request from a user. A route order that does not result in the SOC amount of the battery becoming less than the setting value during travel in the engine restricted zone is suggested.

    Abstract: The control apparatus of the present invention is applied to a hybrid vehicle that, as power sources for propulsion, includes an internal combustion engine that can change over between lean combustion and stoichiometric combustion, and motor-generators. The control apparatus performs the noise suppression control in which the operating points of the internal combustion engine are limited so as to suppress noise generated by a power transmission mechanism, and changes over the operational mode of the internal combustion engine if the thermal efficiency when performing the noise suppression control by changing over the operational mode of the internal combustion engine is higher than the thermal efficiency when performing the noise suppression control by keeping the operational mode of the internal combustion engine the same.

    Abstract: A vehicle includes: an electric motor; a storage battery configured to supply electric power to the electric motor and be charged with electric power from an external power source; an internal combustion engine configured to rotate the electric motor; and a controller configured to perform an electric power generation control and a prohibition control, the internal combustion engine being prohibited in a case where the vehicle is positioned in a predetermined region, wherein the electric power stored in the storage battery is suppliable to an outside, and the controller is configured to permit driving of the internal combustion engine even in the predetermined region in a case where a supply of electric power is insufficient for an electric power demand in the predetermined region or in a case where the supply of the electric power is predicted to be insufficient for the electric power demand in the predetermined region.

    Abstract: A control apparatus for a hybrid vehicle in which a friction clutch and a one-way clutch are disposed in parallel with each other between an engine and an electric motor. The transmission is disposed between the electric motor and drive wheels. The friction clutch connects and disconnects between the engine and the electric motor. The one-way clutch transmits a drive force in a direction from the engine toward the electric motor. The vehicle runs in (i) an electric-motor running mode with operation of the electric motor or (ii) a hybrid running mode with operation of the engine. The control apparatus is configured, upon execution of a shift-up action of the transmission with the hybrid running mode being selected and with the friction clutch being in a non-engaged state, to execute a shift-up action control by which the shift-up action starts to be executed after the friction clutch has been engaged.

    Abstract: A control device is configured to read a required operation point of the internal combustion engine at the moment of restart following after intermittent stoppage, and to execute, when it is determined that the required operation point belongs to a reduced-cylinder operation allowed region and also to a reduced-cylinder operation restricted region which lies on a high load side of the reduced-cylinder operation allowed region, an all-cylinder operation and then move into a reduced-cylinder operation. When it is determined that the required operation point belongs to the reduced-cylinder operation allowed region but not to the reduced-cylinder operation restricted region, the control device is configured to switch the engine to the reduced-cylinder operation without execution of the all-cylinder operation.
