Abstract: A control device predicts whether temporary reduction occurs to a charging efficiency of fresh air in an in-cylinder gas by an influence of an EGR rate of the in-cylinder gas, which increases later than increase of a charging efficiency of the in-cylinder gas, if a first arithmetic operation is applied to calculating a target throttle opening degree based on a target charging efficiency which is increasing, in a case of shifting to an acceleration operation, by using a prediction model expressing dynamic characteristics of an internal combustion engine. When it is predicted that temporary reduction occurs to the charging efficiency of the fresh air, the control device calculates the target throttle opening degree by a second arithmetic operation by which an increase speed of a throttle opening degree is restrained more than by the first arithmetic operation, instead of calculating the target throttle opening degree by the first arithmetic operation.

It is predicted whether the SOC amount of the battery will become less than a setting value during travel in the engine restricted zone if traveling through a stop in the engine restricted zone and a stop outside the engine restricted zone due to a pick-up request or drop-off request from a user. A route order that does not result in the SOC amount of the battery becoming less than the setting value during travel in the engine restricted zone is suggested.

If a predetermined condition is satisfied and the object identified by the identifying part is an object indicating a boundary of a low emission zone which requires that the internal combustion engine be stopped, the position estimating part is configured to judge whether the hybrid vehicle is located within the low emission zone, regardless of the output of the GNSS receiver, based on a result of identification by the identifying part.

Abstract: A control device of a hybrid vehicle 1, 1′ comprises a driving plan generating part 61 setting a driving mode, an output control part 62 controlling outputs of the internal combustion engine 40 and the motor 16, and a lower limit value setting part 63 setting a lower limit value of a state of charge of the battery. The driving plan generating part divides a plurality of routes into pluralities of sections, and sets driving modes of all sections of at least one route to an EV mode. If an actual state of charge of the battery becomes lower than the lower limit value, the output control part changes the driving mode so that the actual state of charge is maintained or becomes higher. The lower limit value setting part lowers the lower limit value at an EV route, compared with a non-EV route other than the EV route.
