Abstract: A hybrid vehicle includes: an engine; a transmission; a power transmission path provided between the engine and the transmission; dampers provided in the power transmission path; and a motor, provided between the dampers, the motor including a rotor, a mass body, an elastic member, and a hysteresis mechanism, the elastic member, and a hysteresis mechanism being arranged in parallel between the rotor and the mass body. Further, the hysteresis mechanism applies a frictional force in a direction opposite to a vibration direction of the mass body to the mass body when the mass body vibrates.

Abstract: An exhaust gas control apparatus has an exhaust gas control element other than an SCR catalyst. A temperature increase treatment unit executes temperature increase treatment that increases temperature of exhaust gas flowing into the exhaust gas control apparatus so as to increase the temperature of the exhaust gas control element to a specified target temperature. In this case, when operation of the internal combustion engine is stopped while the temperature increase treatment unit is not executing the temperature increase treatment, addition of an additive to the SCR catalyst from an addition valve is executed after operation stop of the internal combustion engine. When operation of the internal combustion engine is stopped while the temperature increase treatment unit is executing the temperature increase treatment, addition of the additive to the SCR catalyst from the addition valve is not executed after operation stop of the internal combustion engine.

Abstract: An electrified vehicle system includes an electric motor coupled to a drive wheel via a plurality of power transmission components and a control device. The control device is configured to act as: a feedforward control section configured based on a transfer function simulating vibration transmission characteristics of a power transmission system, receiving as an input a required torque of the electric motor from a driver, and outputting a base command torque of the electric motor; a timing estimation section estimating, based on information on the power transmission system, a timing at which a backlash between the plurality of power transmission components is eliminated; and a torque correction section applying, to the base command torque, a correction torque for reducing a vibration generated in the power transmission system due to elimination of the backlash, in response to an arrival of the timing estimated by the timing estimation section.

The cooling device is configured such that refrigerant cools the fuel addition valve first and then cools the urea addition valve subsequent to the fuel addition valve.

Abstract: A misfire detection device for an internal combustion engine includes processing circuitry. The internal combustion engine includes a selective reduction type catalyst configured to remove NOx from an exhaust gas, an addition valve arranged upstream of the catalyst to add a reducing agent into the exhaust gas, and a NOx concentration sensor arranged downstream of the catalyst to detect a downstream concentration, that is, a NOx concentration in the exhaust gas downstream of the catalyst. The processing circuitry is configured to execute an addition process adding the reducing agent into the exhaust gas with operation of the addition valve and a determination process determining that a misfire has occurred in the internal combustion engine when a detection value of the downstream concentration is decreased on condition that the addition process is being executed.

Abstract: An exhaust gas purification apparatus for an internal combustion engine includes an addition valve to add a precursor of ammonia or ammonia into an exhaust passage of the internal combustion engine, a sensor to detect NOx and ammonia at the upstream side of the addition valve, a channel cross section reducing part arranged at the downstream side of the addition valve, and a control device to limit the calculation of an amount of the precursor of ammonia or an amount of ammonia to be added from the addition valve based on a detection value of the sensor, or the calculation of a rate of NOx reduction based on the detection value of the sensor, in cases where a flow rate of exhaust gas flowing through the exhaust passage is equal to or more than a predetermined flow rate.
