Abstract: The during-travel non-contact power supply system provides contactless power supply from a road-side power supply device to a vehicle equipped with a vehicle-side power receiving device while traveling on a power supply lane to charge a power storage device mounted on the vehicle. The road-side power supply device includes a road-side communication device for performing wireless communication, and the vehicle-side power receiving device includes a vehicle-side communication device for performing wireless communication and a power control device having a switching element for controlling the power supplied to the power storage device in a contactless manner. The vehicle can charge the power storage device by regenerative braking, and the vehicle-side power receiving device transmits the required amount of power to the roadside power supply device via wireless communication, which is set based on the remaining distance of the lane and the frequency of regenerative braking, and performs contactless power supply.

Abstract: A control apparatus for a power receiver which wirelessly receives electric power from a power transmitter. The control apparatus being configured to execute a restriction process that restricts received power by PWM control depending on an amount of the received power. The restriction process comprises calculating an increase gap which is a difference between an initial received power and a local maximum value of the received power with respect to a change in a duty in the PWM control, starting the PWM control when a first value which is a value obtained by adding the increase gap to a current received power exceeds a second value which is a value obtained by subtracting a predetermined margin from an upper limit of the received power, and increasing the duty until the received power becomes lower than the initial received power when starting the PWM control.

Abstract: A wireless power transfer system includes a first power transmission unit, a second power transmission unit, a power reception unit, a sensing unit, and an ECU. The first power transmission unit is provided in a parking space. The second power transmission unit is provided in a traveling lane for a vehicle. The sensing unit senses a sensing target in a sensing region set around the vehicle. When the sensing unit senses the sensing target, the ECU reduces electric power transmitted from the first power transmission unit or the second power transmission unit that is transmitting electric power to the vehicle. The ECU sets the sensing region to be larger when the power reception unit receives electric power from the first power transmission unit than when the power reception unit receives electric power from the second power transmission unit.
