摘要: A terminal performs communication with an in-vehicle device to control a vehicle. The terminal includes a controller configured to switch and set a plurality of operation modes, and a vibration detection unit configured to detect vibration of the terminal. The operation modes include a first mode, a second mode different from the first mode, and a third mode where communication with the in-vehicle device is more restricted than in the first mode and the second mode. The controller is configured to, when the first mode is executed, in a case where vibration is not detected in the vibration detection unit for a predetermined time, switch the operation mode to the third mode, and when the second mode is executed, in a case where vibration is not detected in the vibration detection unit for a time longer than the predetermined time, switch the operation mode to the third mode.

摘要: A smart key system to prevent theft of a vehicle by a relay attack while securing communication performance under a noisy environment, includes an in-vehicle device that measures noise in a radio wave band of a response signal to be wirelessly transmitted by a mobile device; sets a transmission strength of the response signal greater while the noise becomes greater, within a predetermined strength; wirelessly transmits a request signal including a command about the transmission strength into a predetermined area; receives the response signal; and authenticates the mobile device, by first information preregistered for the mobile device, and second information included in the response signal. The mobile device receives the request signal; sets the transmission strength of the response signal, based on the command in the request signal; and wirelessly transmits the response signal including the second information by the set transmission strength when receiving the request signal.

摘要: A terminal performs communication with an in-vehicle device to control a vehicle. The terminal includes a controller configured to switch and control an operation mode of the terminal to at least a predetermined first mode or a predetermined second mode, a reception unit configured to receive a first signal including a switching request of the operation mode from the in-vehicle device, a generation unit configured to update a predetermined value with the reception of the first signal and generate a second signal based on the updated predetermined value, and a transmission unit configured to transmit the second signal to the in-vehicle device. When a third signal including a command for instructing switching of the operation mode received by the reception unit is a response to the second signal, the controller switches the operation mode from the first to the second mode or from the second to the first mode.

摘要: An on-vehicle apparatus start verifying a first code of a portable apparatus returned from the portable apparatus in response to a first signal from the on-vehicle apparatus unless a battery of the portable apparatus is not exhausted upon detection of a user's operation to unlock/lock a door beside a vehicle; verifies a second code of the portable apparatus returned from the portable apparatus in response to power supply to the portable apparatus through electromagnetic induction caused by a second signal from the on-vehicle apparatus; determines whether the user's operation has been continuously detected if the first code is not returned; ends the verification of the first code if there is no state where the user's operation has been continuously detected; and ends the verification of the first code and starts the verification of the second code if the user's operation has been continuously detected.

摘要: An on-vehicle electronic device creates a first signal and a second signal, and designates the number of times of transmitting the second signal. When noise is generated, the first signal includes information indicating a period of time to receive a signal by the portable device longer than that when noise is not generated. When noise is generated, the number of times of transmitting the second signal to a portable device by the on-vehicle electronic device to be designated is larger than that when noise is not generated. For the period of time to receive a signal indicated by the first signal, the portable device receives a signal.
