摘要: An automatic frequency pulling circuit produces a signal in synchronism with a horizontal synchronizing signal from a video signal processing device or the like. The automatic frequency pulling circuit comprises an equalizing pulse remover responsive to a synchronizing signal separated from a composite video signal for alternately removing equalizing pulses therefrom, and a PLL circuit composed of at least a phase comparator and a voltage-controlled oscillator. The phase comparator is arranged to compare the phases of an output from the equalizing pulse remover and an output from the voltage-controlled oscillator, for thereby producing the signal in synchronism with the horizontal synchronizing signal. The signal thus generated is utilized in a video monitor, for example, to display accurate images thereon.

摘要: A stimulable phosphor sheet stored thereon a radiation image is two-dimensionally scanned by a stimulating light beam by projecting the light beam along a main scanning line extending in a main scanning direction and moving one of the stimulable phosphor sheet and the stimulating light beam in a sub-scanning direction relatively to the other so that the stimulable phosphor sheet is exposed to the stimulating light beam along a plurality of main scanning lines arranged in the sub-scanning direction at a predetermined pitch and stimulated emission emitted from the part of the stimulable phosphor sheet exposed to the stimulating light beam is photoelectrically converted to an electric image signal by a photoelectric convertor. The power of the stimulating light beam is controlled depending on the pitch at which the main scanning lines are arranged in the sub-scanning direction.

摘要: An image reading apparatus includes a first laser stimulating ray source for emitting a laser beam having a wavelength of 633 nm or 635 nm, a second laser stimulating ray source for emitting a laser beam having a wavelength of 470 to 480 nm, a laser beam scanning device for scanning the laser beam, at least one light detector for photoelectrically detecting light released from an image carrier carrying an image, and at least one filter member disposed in front of the light detector and having a plurality of filters for transmitting light of different wavelengths. The thus constituted image reading apparatus can be used for a radiation diagnosis system, an autoradiographic system, an electron microscope detecting system and a radiation diffraction image detecting system using a stimulable phosphor and a fluorescence detecting system and an image can be read with high sensitivity.

摘要: Red, green and blue densities of a number of points of a color negative or original are measured. If the measured values of the densities fall within an ellipsoid when plotted in a three dimensional coordinate system or within an ellipse when plotted in two-dimensional coordinate system the axes of which represent the red, green and blue densities or combinations of the three color densities, the measured point is determined to have flesh color. When the negative or original has more than a certain number of points of flesh color, it is determined that the principal subject matter of the negative or original is a human figure and the exposure in a printer is controlled to give a print having a desirable flesh color.

摘要: An improved method for controlling the quantity of exposure in photographic printing to obtain high-quality prints is disclosed. The method is carried out by photoelectrically detecting a plurality of optical densities from a principal portion of a negative film then discriminating the maximum value and the minimum value of the photoelectrically detected optical densities. The difference between the maximum and minimum values is calculated to achieve a first output, and the first output is non-linearly converted and combined with the maximum or minimum value output to achieve a third output for controlling the quantity of exposure. The method provides satisfactory prints even from those negative films having principal subject density failures or color failures.

摘要: A photomultiplier which detects feeble light emitted by the irradiation of excitation light on an image carrier carrying an image related to a living organism has an integration circuit is DC-coupled with a photomultiplier to convert a current signal output from the photomultiplier, to a voltage signal. The voltage signal converted by the integration circuit is logarithmically compressed with a logarithmic conversion circuit. An offset compensation circuit is provided for reducing an offset voltage that could occur because of charge injection in the integral action of the integration circuit.

摘要: A surface plasmon sensor comprises a prism, a metal film, which is formed on one surface of the prism and is brought into contact with a sample, and a light source for producing a light beam. An optical system causes the light beam to pass through the prism and to impinge upon an interface between the prism and the metal film such that various different angles of incidence may be obtained with respect to the interface. A photodetector detects an intensity of the light beam, which has been totally reflected from the interface, with respect to each of the various different angles of incidence. An electrode stands facing the metal film with a liquid sample intervening therebetween, and a DC voltage is applied across the electrode and the metal film. A substance contained in the liquid sample is thus analyzed quickly and with a high sensitivity.

摘要: A CRT image recording apparatus in which a picture a CRT image displayed on a CRT is photographed by a camera. In this apparatus, the number of vertical synchronizing signals separated from a video signal is counted, and the exposure time during which the CRT image is photographed is determined so as to correspond to the number of vertical synchronizing signals 2.sup.K .multidot.n (where K and n are integers) thereby counted. The exposure time is therefore determined is synchronism with the vertical synchronizing signals, thereby preventing any nonuniformity of exposure from occurring on a film.

摘要: A synchronizing signal generating circuit is incorporated in a digital image storing device. When a plurality of video signals composed of different numbers of scanning lines and issued from television cameras of different types of various diagnostic apparatus are converted from analog to digital signals and stored per frame in an image memory in the digital image storing apparatus, sampling pulses for an A/D converter which are synchronous with the horizontal synchronizing signals of the video signals and field discriminating signals relative to odd-numbered fields and even-numbered fields, among composite synchronizing signals, are generated by using an N-multiplier including an equalizing pulse remover controlled by an F/V converter and a field discriminating circuit with a field discriminating time constant being automatically controlled by the F/V converter. The video signals are stored per frame in the image memory on a real-time basis by utilizing the sampling pulses and the field discriminating signal.

摘要: In a color printer system, a color film is checked and necessary color correction information is input into a recording medium before the color prints are made from the color film. The color film is first automatically analyzed and automatically corrected. The conditions of correction automatically obtained by the automatic color film analyzer are used for correcting color images. The color images with the automatically obtained correction conditions are displayed on a color video monitor. A human monitor observes the displayed images and determines whether or not additional corrections are necessary. Further, the monitor determines whether or not the images should be printed due to extremely bad exposure conditions like badly blurred images. The monitor inputs additional correction information and other necessary information to the analyzer. The images are then further corrected according to the additional correction information and again displayed. The printing process is performed after final check and correction by the human monitor.
