摘要: An airbag according to the present invention comprises an airbag body and a plurality of tearable wrapping yarns. The wrapping yarns are wound around the outer circumference of the wrapping area of the airbag body as folded into a generally rod-like shape, along the axial direction of the airbag body and to obliquely intersect the axial direction. In the wrapping area, at least two of the wrapping yarns are wound from the opposite directions to each other. The distance between the adjacent wrapping yarns along the axial direction of the airbag body is within the range of 20 to 60 mm in the wrapping area. The yarn strength of each wrapping yarn is within the range of 7.4 to 65N. In the airbag of the present invention, the airbag body in the wrapping area is kept in a compact shape by a simple wrapping work, while securing the smooth expansion and inflation.

摘要: In an airbag folding method, an airbag is folded so as to provide a rolled-up shape thereon using a core member including air suction holes from which air can be sucked in. Firstly, the core member is disposed on part of the spread airbag that is to be rolled up at a location which corresponds to a center of a rolled-up shape when formed, and following this, the core member is rotated so as to wind up the airbag around the core member to thereby form a spiral shape while air is being sucked in from the air suction holes so that the airbag is drawn to be secured to an outer circumferential surface of the core member. Thereafter, a rolled-up shape is formed on the airbag by removing the core member.

摘要: A photoelectric sensor includes a phototransmitter that outputs light toward a detection target region of an object; an optical receiver that receives the light outputted from the phototransmitter; a signal processing unit that outputs a signal indicating that the object is detected in response to a decrease of an amount of light received by the optical receiver; and two optical filters that are provided between the phototransmitter and the optical receiver to transmit only pieces of light having specific characteristics. In the phototransmitter, two kinds of light having different characteristics and that do not interfere with each other are outputted from output regions in the light transmitting surface; one of the two optical filters has a characteristic of transmitting only one of the two kinds of light and the other of the optical filters has a characteristic of transmitting only the other of the two kinds of light; the optical filters are disposed opposite to output regions of the pieces of light different from the pieces of light of a selecting target while located across a detection target region; and output directions of the two kinds of light are fixed such that whole surfaces of the optical filters corresponding to the characteristics are irradiated with the two kinds of light from the phototransmitter when the optical filters are disposed in a light transmitting surface while located away from each other by a predetermined distance or more.

摘要: A light transmission module includes an optical converter for converting an electrical signal to an optical signal; a light transmission path for transmitting the optical signal converted by the optical converter; an electrical transmission path for transmitting an input electrical signal; and a control instructing unit for instructing stop of drive to the optical converter based on a detection of an input electrical signal. When an input electrical signal having a predetermined frequency is detected, the input electrical signal having the predetermined frequency is converted to an optical signal and transmitted in the light transmission path. When input of an electrical signal other than the predetermined frequency is detected, the electrical signal other than the predetermined frequency is transmitted by the electrical transmission path without being converted to an optical signal due to the stop of the drive of the optical converter.
