摘要: A wind-turbine control device controls a wind turbine generator in which a rotor having a plurality of blades receives wind and rotates. The generator generates electrical power through the rotation of the rotor. The electrical power is supplied to a utility grid, and electric energy to be supplied to the utility grid can be changed according to a change in the frequency of the utility grid. The wind-turbine control device includes a subtracter to calculate a frequency change, which is the difference between a measurement value of the frequency of generated output power of the wind turbine generator and a set value of the frequency of the generated output power of the wind turbine generator. The wind-turbine control device further includes a limiter to limit a change in the electrical power corresponding to the frequency change calculated by the subtracter, based on the rotational speed of the generator.

摘要: A volume data encoder with high encoding efficiency is provided. The object of the coding is volume data which contains a plurality of tomogram planes output from a CT and an MRI. A header analysis unit separates each plane image into header information and pixel information. A header compression unit compresses the separated header information. On the other hand, a two-dimensional transform unit conducts frequency decomposition on the pixel information. A skip portion detection and table generation unit detects skip portions that are the same in all coefficients in a z-direction, and stores them in a table. A one-dimensional transform unit conducts one-dimensional transform on the pixel information for coefficients except the skip portions. A unit block division unit divides each subband into unit blocks. An entropy encoding unit determines a parameter for entropy encoding according to statistical properties of all coefficients in all unit blocks included in each class.

摘要: To electrically isolate a MOSFET formed on a substrate from an electrical device, a field shield electrode is buried in a substrate between the MOSFET and the electrical device so that the bottom surface of the field shield electrode is at a level deeper than each of depth levels of diffusion layers of the MOSFET and the electric device. To provide such an electrode, a trench is formed in a substrate at a level deeper than the depth levels of the diffusion layers of both the MOSFET and the electric device. After insulating an entire inner surface of the trench, an field shield electrode is buried and exposed surface of the electrode is covered with an insulating film.

摘要: To improve ignition timing precision without being subjected to a harmful influence of gear backlash produced when the distributor unit is directly driven by a camshaft and further to mount the distributor unit on the front cover at any desired inclination angle for reduction of total engine height, the distributor driving apparatus for an DOHC engine, in particular comprises two camshaft sprockets fixed to two camshafts; an idler sprocket rotatably supported between the two camshafts and the crankshaft; a first chain reeved around the crankshaft and the idler sprocket; a second chain reeved around the idler sprocket and the two camshaft sprockets; and a distributor driving gear fixed to the idler sprocket. Therefore, when the crankshaft is rotated, the idler sprocket is driven by the crankshaft via the first chain and therefore the distributor unit is directly driven by the distributor driving gear. On the other hand, the camshaft sprockets are driven by the idler sprocket via the second chain.
