摘要: An adiabatic expansion apparatus 22 with a built-in turbine impeller 12 adiabatically expands gas at a cryogenic temperature when the impeller rotates. A control device 24 is connected coaxially with the turbine impeller to control the impeller. A variable nozzle mechanism 30 is provided for varying the throat area for the gas at a cryogenic temperature to be introduced into the turbine impeller. The adiabatic expansion apparatus is installed in a vacuum vessel 14, and a control device is disposed outside the vacuum vessel. The variable nozzle mechanism comprises a nozzle component 32 built into the adiabatic expansion apparatus, and a driving component 34 installed outside the vacuum vessel. The nozzle component and the driving component are connected to the turbine impeller with a coaxial, thin cylindrical component 36, and drive the nozzle component when the cylindrical component rotates about the axis Z of the turbine impeller. The actuator and most of components of the nozzle driving mechanism can be installed at normal temperature under atmospheric pressure, the heat input can be suppressed to an extremely minimal level, and the variable nozzle of the expansion turbine can be driven. Thus, according to the invention, helium gas at a cryogenic temperature can be expanded adiabatically at a high adiabatic efficiency.

摘要: In distributed system for operating devices in association with one another, a device responsible for determining whether or not an access is permitted, and criteria for determination are hidden from accessing device or user, and flexible access control is provided among devices without need for previously defining accessible devices or user's identifiers. Communication process opens data communications which are interactions between devices to permit indefinite number of other devices to monitor data. A behavior monitoring process acquires interaction within particular device or between other devices in system for storage in behavior log table. Access control process matches the behavior log table with access control policy to determine whether or not device should be associated with target device from which process request is received, or with a target device to which a process program of the particular device attempts to access.

摘要: The present invention relates to a distributed system in which processors incorporated in machines and objects are mutually linked in operation, and an object of the present invention is to provide a distributed system in which each device can establish a link with a suitable device according to changes in the environment and conditions, independently from the system configuration controlled by a server. In order to achieve the above object, each device provided by the present invention obtains information on surrounding devices through a sensor 131 or communication processing 112, recognizes the environment around it through environment recognition processing 111, and stores the environmental information in an environment management table 123. By employing link control processing 113, each device shares conditional information stored in a profile 122 and a policy 124 of each device through the communication processing 112. Each device locally and continuously determines a device to be linked with it or whether to perform a link operation requested by another device, using the shared conditional information, information on the surrounding environment, and the policy 124. The results of a link operation are made public and shared by each device through the link control processing 113, and used for narrowing the range of link target devices.

摘要: A processing device has a personal authentication information receiving unit for receiving personal authentication information, a security information DB, and a processing information managing unit. The processing information managing unit converts the personal authentication information received by the personal authentication receiving unit to a user ID, detects an event concerning a processing operation, and associates the event with the user ID, thereby creating or updating an access management table for processing performance information, for storage in the security information DB. The processing information management unit then controls access to the processing performance information based on the access management table and the user ID obtained by conversion of the personal authentication information received by the personal authentication information receiving unit.

摘要: The present invention provides a highly sensitive and practical method for the determination of and the separation of 5-hydroxycreatinine from a sample of bodily fluid. The method of the present invention is useful as a method for the testing of renal dysfunction, such as uremia, chronic nephritis and closure of the urinary tract, etc. A separation solvent of pH 4.1 to 4.6 is used in a high performance liquid chromatography step that is carried out using a strongly acidic cation-exchange resin, such as a styrene-divinylbenzene resin. The determination sensitivity is a concentration of only about 0.02 &mgr;M, whereby 5-hydroxycreatinine in blood of healthy persons can be determined for the first time. Moreover, only one separation solvent, such as a citrate, need be used and the cycle time for analysis is only about 14 minutes per measurement. Thus, a practitioner using one set of HPLC equipment is able to carry out about 100 determinations per day.

摘要: According to the present invention, a file recovery system is provided in which the commands for recovering files such as a historical file are unnecessitated and the recovery system configuration is independent of the host processing system. That is, since the equipment for achieving a file recovery does not have information about the location of the recovery data, information about the content of a file to be recovered is transmitted to a transmission line. The other equipments asynchronously receive the information and judges whether or not a file containing the same content exists in the own system. If its file exists, the content of the file is transmitted to the transmission line. The equipment achieving the file recovery asynchronously receives from the transmission line the file data of files such as a historical file and establishes data consistency by use of the buffered current data and the event number, thereby recovering files such as a historical file.

摘要: Several processors and several communication control units are connected to a transmission medium. Each communication control unit has one or more terminal devices connected to it, and so any terminal device can be coupled to any processor. Each processor includes a central processing unit, a memory, and a control manager. The memory stores first information regarding processing being done with a terminal device coupled to the processor and second information regarding the communication control units connected to each of the processors and regarding the terminal devices being serviced by the processor. The control manager manages the communication control units based on the stored information. Information about the connections between the processors and the communication control units is broadcast to all processors. If any processor is faulty, another processor can take over the processing being done by the faulty processor. Likewise, further, processors can be added to the network, and their connection status is known to all other processors.
