摘要: A control system for a hybrid vehicle in which, even if during traveling of the hybrid vehicle, a battery defect arises in a high-voltage power source, battery-less emergency traveling can be achieved over a sufficiently long distance, and the steering assist force can be effectively prevented from changing rapidly during traveling. The control section includes high-voltage power source defect processing unit. During execution of a mode in which the high-voltage power source, is reduced so that the reduced voltage is supplied to an electric power steering device (EPS), when a defect occurs in the high-voltage power source, the high-voltage power source defect processing unit shifts to a mode in which the low voltage of a low-voltage power source is increased so that the increased voltage is supplied to the EPS. The high-voltage power source defect processing unit then disconnects the high-voltage power source and the driving circuit from each other.

摘要: A device and method for determining whether a malfunction is present in a drive circuit, which drives an electric device that generates counter-electromotive force, when all gates in the switching elements of the drive circuit are blocked. After the gates are blocked, the temperature of the switching elements is monitored and the presence of a malfunction is determined based on the detected temperature of the switching elements. A malfunction is determined to be present when the detected temperature equals or exceeds a predetermined temperature; the change in the detected temperature equals or exceeds a predetermined value; or the rate of change in the detected temperature equals or exceeds than a predetermined rate. Thus, it can be appropriately determined whether the gates in the drive circuit are appropriately blocked and minimize the influence of any malfunctions on other elements outside of the drive circuit.

摘要: A piezoelectric electroacoustic transducer eliminates the need for the interconnection between main surface electrodes and internal electrodes, and is capable of constructing a bimorph diaphragm using a simple connection structure. The piezoelectric electroacoustic transducer includes a laminated body formed by laminating two or three piezoelectric ceramic layers, main surface electrodes each provided on the top and bottom main surfaces, and an internal electrode provided between any adjacent two piezoelectric ceramic layers. In the piezoelectric electroacoustic transducer, all ceramic layers are polarized in the same direction with respect to the thickness direction, and by applying an alternating voltage across the main surface electrodes and the internal electrode, the laminated body generates a bending vibration in its entirety.

摘要: A relay valve for use with a railroad car braking system includes a housing in which a control chamber is disposed between a delivery chamber on an upper side and an exhaust chamber on a lower side. A supply chamber is disposed above the delivery chamber. A control piston disposed in the control chamber is reciprocally-movable as a function of the balance of forces acting on opposing sides of the piston. In order to achieve the desired balance of control fluid pressure to delivery fluid pressure, the surface areas of the piston on which these pressures are exerted are equalized by way of a hollow rod extension coaxially-disposed on the piston, and extending from the lower exhaust chamber to the upper delivery chamber. A supply valve between the supply chamber and delivery chamber and an exhaust valve connected between the delivery chamber and exhaust chamber by the hollow rod member are arranged in a stacked manner, and are operated to the necessary opening and closing sequence by movement of the piston under the influence of the control fluid pressure.

摘要: A magnetic sensor device includes a first magnet and a second magnet that are disposed on mutually opposing sides of a conveyance path, and one of poles of the first magnet faces an opposite pole of the second magnet. The first magnet and the second magnet generate a cross magnetic field whose strength in a spacing direction, which is orthogonal to a conveying direction, is within a predetermined range. An AMR element is located in a magnetic field in which the strength of the cross magnetic field in the spacing direction is within a predetermined range, and detects, as change in a resistance value, change in the cross magnetic field caused by an object to be detected. A multilayer board outputs the change in the resistance value detected by the AMR element to a processing circuit.

摘要: A selectable operation amount is set as a threshold value according to an input operation amount, where if a determination value obtained by adding the input operation amount and an integrated operation amount or an output error accumulated value is greater than or equal to the threshold value, the threshold value is selected as the output operation amount, and if the determination value is not greater than or equal to the threshold value, a selectable output operation amount close to the threshold value is selected, and the ON/OFF control is performed with the selected output operation amount, while the selected output operation amount is subtracted from the determination value to correct the integrated operation amount, so that the input operation can be substantially output even if it takes an operation amount other than the selectable operation amount values.
