    摘要: In a headlamp of an automobile, a reflector is divided to an upper reflector member positioned above an optical axis and a lower reflector member including the optical axis; the upper reflector is rotatable and provided with a reflection face for forming a diffusing luminous intensity distribution pattern; the lower reflector member is provided with a light source bulb, rotatable and provided with a reflection face for forming a reference luminous intensity distribution pattern. Therefore, the diffusing luminous intensity distribution pattern and the reference luminous intensity distribution pattern can independently or simultaneously be changed by rotating the upper reflector member and the lower reflector member independently or simultaneously. Accordingly, visibility is improved when an automobile is running on a curved road.

    摘要: A hydraulic shock absorber employs first and second stage disc valves arranged in tandem fashion. The first stage disc valve is provided for acting on a relatively small pressure difference for enhanced damping characteristics at a relatively low piston stroke speed range. On the other hand, the second stage disc valve is provided for acting on a greater pressure difference for generating damping a force at a higher piston stroke speed range. The second stage disc valve is initially pre-loaded at a predetermined magnitude of load so as to set a pressure relief point of the second stage disc valve at a desired piston stroke speed for better damping characteristics of the shock absorber.

    摘要: In a gear pump equipped with a pump assembly formed from a driving gear supported by a driving shaft, a driven gear supported by a driven shaft, a pair of side plates disposed at both sides in an axial direction of driving and driven shafts, and a seal block that seals tips of the gears and forms a first fluid chamber by installation onto the side plates, and a casing that houses the pump assembly and forms a second fluid chamber therein, ribs are provided for at least one member of the side plates or the seal block, and fluid tightness between the first and second fluid chambers is secured by exerting pressure between the side plates and seal block and additionally plastically deforming the ribs. By this, it is possible to provide the gear pump which is capable of achieving improvement of the seal integrity while reducing the parts count.

    摘要: A hydraulic pump unit for vehicle brake control system comprising a pump housing, a cylinder received in a receiving hole formed in the pump housing. The cylinder has a bottom portion and is provided at the bottom portion with an outlet valve. A plunger is slidingly received in the cylinder and defines a pump chamber in cooperation with the cylinder. An inlet valve provided on the plunger, an inlet passage formed in the pump housing. An opening of the inlet passage is provided in the receiving hole. An outlet passage formed in the pump housing, an opening of the outlet passage is provided in the receiving hole. A plug member for closing an opening of the receiving hole, the plug member is fixed to the bottom portion of the cylinder, and an orifice plate having a passage is arranged between the bottom portion and the plug member.

    摘要: A variable damping force shock absorber includes a cylinder tube defining therein two axially aligned fluid chambers separated by a piston. The fluid chambers are connected via first and second fluid paths for fluid communication therebetween. A high damping force generating valve is disposed in the first fluid path. A low damping force generating valve is disposed in the second fluid path. A variable orifice is also formed in the second fluid path. The variable orifice is associated with a control valve which adjusts fluid path area of the variable orifice. The control valve is axially shiftable for adjusting the orifice area. A pressure chamber is formed opposing one axial end of the control valve, which pressure chamber is in fluid communication with one of the fluid chamber via the variable orifice. A bias means is active on the other axial end of the control valve, remote from the pressure chamber, for exerting a bias force in a direction opposite to the force exerted by working fluid in the pressure chamber.
