摘要： A suede-like or deer skin-like raised woven or knitted fabric having at least one raised surface is produced by providing a woven or knitted fabric using a yarn consisting of synthetic hollow composite fibers each composed of two or more fiber-forming polyester constituents and two or more fiber-forming polyamide constituents and having a hollow space surrounded by the polyamide and polyester constituents which are arranged alternately with each other and adhered to each other side-by-side so as to form a tube-shaped body, and raising a surface of the fabric while allowing the hollow composite fibers located in at least the raised surface portion of the fabric to be divided into numerous very fine fibrils consisting of said polyester and polyamide constituents.

摘要： An electronic means senses the difference in rotational speed between a main shaft gear to be engaged and the main shaft, and actuates a friction disc assembly to connect the low gear to the main shaft to accelerate the countershaft and thus the gear to be engaged if the gear speed is lower than the main shaft speed, and to connect the first gear to the transmission casing to decelerate the countershaft and thus the gear if the gear speed is higher than the main shaft speed, shifting from neutral into the desired gear ratio is prevented until the gear and main shaft speeds are synchronized.

摘要： In a vehicular lamp system for an automotive vehicle, a first reflector (11201) equipped with a light source, a second reflector (11202) enabled to deflect a reflection direction thereof toward a vehicular turn direction independently of the first reflector, and a driving section (2) that operatively performs a deflection drive for the first and second reflectors are provided. A controller (3) controls the driving section(s) on the basis of a vehicular velocity detected by a vehicular velocity detector (6) and a steering angle detected by a vehicular steering angle detector (5) in such a manner that the second reflector is deflected toward the vehicular turn direction according to the detected steering angle when the detected vehicular velocity falls in an extremely low vehicular velocity range and that the first reflector is deflected toward the vehicular turn direction according to the steering angle when the detected vehicular velocity falls in a high vehicular velocity range.

摘要： In a vehicular lamp system having a displaceable light distribution section which radiates a light from a light source into a predetermined light distribution area and is enabled to displace its light distribution state toward a direction toward which a displacement angle thereof to an optical axis of the light source is formed, a drive section which drives the displaceable light distribution section to displace a light distribution state from the optical axis of the light source by displacement angle, a steering angle sensor which detects a steering angle of a vehicular steering wheel, and a controller which controls the drive section to displace light distribution section by the displacement angle in accordance with a detected value of the steering angle, a gain setting section is provided in the controller to set a gain prescribing the displacement angle of the displaceable light distributing section with respect to the detected value of the steering wheel to fall in a predetermined range such as to displace the displaceable light distribution section by a predetermined displacement angle smaller than the detected value of steering angle. The predetermined range is between ⅙ and ½.

摘要： In a headlamp of an automobile, a reflector is divided to an upper reflector member positioned above an optical axis and a lower reflector member including the optical axis; the upper reflector is rotatable and provided with a reflection face for forming a diffusing luminous intensity distribution pattern; the lower reflector member is provided with a light source bulb, rotatable and provided with a reflection face for forming a reference luminous intensity distribution pattern. Therefore, the diffusing luminous intensity distribution pattern and the reference luminous intensity distribution pattern can independently or simultaneously be changed by rotating the upper reflector member and the lower reflector member independently or simultaneously. Accordingly, visibility is improved when an automobile is running on a curved road.

摘要： A four wheel drive system has an interaxle multiple disc friction clutch, an actuator for varying torque transmitted through the clutch to a front wheel drive shaft by varying a clutch pressure of the clutch, first and second sensors for sensing rotational speeds of the front wheel and rear wheel drive shafts, a third element for producing a third signal, and a control unit for controlling a driving torque distribution between the front and rear wheel drive shafts by sending a control signal to the actuator. The control means increases the torque transmitted through the clutch with increase in a speed difference between the front wheel and rear wheel drive shafts in accordance with one of characteristics selected in accordance with the third signal. The third element is designed to find a condition of the vehicle which can be controlled by a driver of the vehicle, and may take the form of an accelerator position sensor or a manually operated selector switch.

摘要： A limited slip differential comprises a pair of friction clutches interposed between a pair of pressure rings and a differential casing. The friction clutches are urged toward an engaged condition to reduce a differential action when a pinion mate shaft having a pair of cam portions rotate to urge the pressure rings to move away from each other. The friction clutches are also urged toward the engaged condition to reduce the differential action when supplied with fluid pressure from a hydraulic system. The hydraulic system controls supply and discharge of fluid pressure to and from said friction clutches in view of running conditions of the vehicle, such as for example accelerated conditions.

摘要： A process for the preparation of leatherlike sheet materials which comprises: preparing hollow composite fibers, each composed of 32 to 72 alternately arranged segments of polyester or polyamide and polystyrene which are mutually adhered side-by-side and encompass a hollow space, and which extend along the longitudinal axis of the fiber to form a tubular body, the hollow composite fiber having a denier of 1 to 20, and each segment having a denier of 0.01 to 0.5; forming a fabric using thus prepared hollow composite fibers; removing the polystyrene segments with a solvent thereof from the hollow composite fibers; and applying an elastic polymer to the fabric. The resultant leatherlike sheet materials have fine touch, excellent repulsive elasticity and excellent wrinkle resistance similar to natural suede. The hollow ratio (ratio by volume of the hollow space to the sum of the volume of the polyester or polyamide segments, the polystyrene segments and the hollow space) is 2-15%.
