    摘要: An active matrix substrate comprises an insulation substrate, a plurality of pixel electrodes arranged in a matrix form on the insulation substrate, a switching element provided for each of the pixel electrodes, gate signal lines for supplying a signal to the switching elements, and source signal lines for supplying a data signal to the pixel electrodes via the corresponding switching elements. Each switching element is a thin film transistor (TFT) including a gate electrode, an insulating layer formed on the insulation substrate to cover the gate electrode, a semiconductor layer formed on the insulating layer opposite to the gate electrode, a source electrode formed on one end of the semiconductor layer, one of the source signal lines overlapping the source electrode, and a drain electrode formed on the other end of the semiconductor layer, one of the gate signal lines overlapping the drain electrode. The source and drain electrodes have a two-layer structure of an upper amorphous semiconductor layer and a lower micro-crystalline semiconductor layer. The source signal lines have a two-layer structure of an upper conductive layer and a lower protection layer.

    摘要: An active matrix substrate provided with a dielectric substrate, on which a gate wire multi-short-circuit group composed of gate wire multi-short-circuit wires and a data wire multi-short-circuit group composed of gate wire multi-short-circuit wires are formed at either ends of the gate wires and data wires, respectively. The gate wires and gate wire multi-short-circuit wires are connected in such a manner that adjacent gate wires are short-circuited with different gate wire multi-short-circuit wires. It has become possible with the present active matrix substrate to conduct electrical inspections such that can detect leakage defects among the gate wires and those among the data wires, correct the revealed defects, and confirm the corrections easier at a low cost. Moreover, the present active matrix substrate can prevent static electricity in a sufficient manner.

    摘要: A plurality of source signal lines which supplies display data of picture elements, which are sampled at a sampling gate, from a video signal line to a plurality of picture element TFTs arranged in a matrix pattern, and a plurality of gate signal lines that supplies a control signal for controlling the picture element TFTs and that intersect the source signal lines are provided to a display section. A spare wiring is formed on each source signal line or gate signal line so that the spare wiring intersects only a non-input end of each source signal line or of each gate signal line. A corrective signal supplying circuit for supplying a corrective signal of display data or a corrective signal of the control signal for controlling picture element TFTs is provided to the outside of the display section. As a result, a line breakdown can be completely corrected.
