摘要: Provided are a system and method for allocating an Internet protocol version 4 (IPv4) address through authentication of a dual stack transition mechanism (DSTM) node in a DSTM communication network, DSTM being an IPv4/IPv6 address translation mechanism. The system and method perform authentication when an IPv4 address is allocated between a DSTM node and the DSTM server in the DSTM communication network. According to the system and method, when the DSTM node requests IPv4 address allocation, the DSTM server authenticates the DSTM node, and then allocates an IPv4 address. Therefore, it is possible to solve a problem of exhaustion of an IPv4 address pool of the DSTM server by a denial of service (DoS) attack, as well as potentially solve a security problem of an IPv4/IPv6 translation process.

摘要: A method for providing end-to-end security service in a communication network having an NAT-PT function comprises: performing security negotiation between a first node included in a first communication network having the network address translation-protocol translation function and a second node included in a second communication network operating with a protocol different from the first communication network; storing protocol translation information generated when the security negotiation is performed in the first node; and performing security transmission between the first and second nodes using the stored protocol translation information. The method transmits the address translation information to the ends in advance, thereby being capable of applying the security service using the address information on transmitting the data between hosts in the communication network using the address translation method.

摘要: A transmission method for a multiple antenna system including a first device having M (>1) transmitting antennas and a second device having N (>1) receiving antennas is disclosed. The method includes determining whether there is a multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) transmission scheme satisfying a condition that it consumes less energy than a single-input single-output (SISO) transmission scheme to transmit a frame at a given transmission power, among one or more MIMO transmission schemes available to the first device and the second device, the one or more MIMO transmission schemes being determined by the numbers of activated transmitting and receiving antennas, and MIMO code; determining a transmission mode as a MIMO mode when there is the at least one MIMO transmission scheme satisfying the condition, and otherwise determining the transmission mode as a SISO mode; and performing frame transmission from the first device to the second device in the determined transmission mode. Thus, frame transmission with power saving can be performed.

摘要: Provided are methods of estimating an available bandwidth and a delay in a multi-channel multi-interface based wireless ad-hoc network, and a method of relaying a route request message using the methods. The method of relaying a route request message includes (a) receiving a first route request message including information on a required bandwidth, (b) determining whether or not a condition that a link from a node transmitting the first route request message to the intermediate node and a link from the intermediate node to one of one or more neighboring nodes both have an available bandwidth equal to or larger than the required bandwidth, is satisfied, and (c) when it is determined that the condition is satisfied, broadcasting a second route request message including the information on the required bandwidth. According to the methods, it is possible to efficiently configure a route guaranteeing Quality of Service (QoS) required for a call.

摘要: An apparatus for controlling a rotational servo by using a frequency pulse signal generator is provided. The rotational servo controlling apparatus has a frequency pulse signal generator for generating a frequency pulse signal indicating the current rotational speed of the motor. A track count signal generator counts the number of tracks from the current track to an object track, and generates a corresponding track count signal. A microprocessor receives the frequency pulse and the track count signals and issues a command to generate a reference frequency pulse signal. A reference pulse signal generator receives the command and generates the reference frequency pulse signal. A phase comparator compares the frequency pulse signal and the reference frequency pulse signal and issues a comparison signal. The rotational servo controls the rotational speed of the spindle motor to rotate at a speed proper for the reading of data from the object track, i.e., so that the frequency pulse signal is identical to the reference frequency pulse signal. Therefore, a stable and rapid rough search can be performed.

The method includes transmitting, by a parent node, first messages to respective child nodes, transmitting, by each of the child nodes, a second message to the parent node in response to the first message relayed by at least some of non-member nodes other than the parent node, performing an operation as a branch node by a non-member node receiving second messages belonging to the same multicast session and transmitted from different originators, and establishing, by the parent node receiving at least one second message, an Internet protocol (IP) tunnel with the originator of the received at least one second message. The performing of the operation as the branch node includes regarding the originators of the received second messages as child nodes, establishing IP tunnels connected to the respective child nodes, generating a new second message including an identifier (ID) of the branch node and IDs of the child nodes in an originator field and a child list field, respectively, and transmitting the generated second message to the parent node.
