An on-vehicle terminal apparatus for a DSRC system includes a mobile station mounted on a car, a radio tag mounted on the car separately from the mobile station, and a first communication device provided for communication with the mobile station and a base station installed on a road. Tag information recorded in the tag contains the car information. The mobile station includes a second communication device for communication with the tag. The car information transmitted to the base station is acquired from the radio tag through the second communication means.
