    摘要: An electromagnetically driven valve device is formed by attaching a lower core assy, an armature, an upper core assy, and an upper case in that order from bottom, to a cylinder head of an engine. Each of the lower core assy and the upper core assy is unitarily formed so as to have a predetermined shape by resin-molding a core and a coil that form an electromagnet as well as an armature bearing, etc. The lower core assy is fastened together with the upper core assy to the cylinder head, and is thus attached to the mounting surface.

The control unit includes a controller, when an operation of the valve body is stopped and held in a holding position that is one of the valve opening end position and the valve closing end position, decreases a gas pressure of one of the pair of gas pressure springs that urges the valve body towards a non-holding position opposite to the holding position so as to become lower than a gas pressure of the one of the pair of gas pressure springs that urges the valve body towards the non-holding position when the valve body is operated.

    摘要: An electromagnetic drive-type die casting decompression valve comprises a drive shaft, provided inside a drive block, driven by electromagnetic force from a solenoid, and a valve shaft, provided inside a valve block separate from the drive shaft, provided with a valve body on one shaft end. Also, a closing spring working jointly to urge the valve body in a closing direction is provided on the valve shaft, while an opening spring working jointly to urge the valve body in the opening direction is provided on the drive shaft. The valve block is also provided in a replaceable manner. According to this type of electromagnetically driven die casting decompression valve, bouncing is not caused at the time of closing a decompression valve, and it is also possible to significantly decrease maintenance time and repair costs even when problems arise, such as molten metal infiltrating into a valve body.

    摘要: A cylinder head having a solenoid valve control device for operating a valve of an internal combustion engine includes a valve element which constitutes one of an intake valve and an exhaust valve of the engine. An armature is connected to the valve element to operate the valve element. A first solenoid is provided above the armature to generate an electromagnetic force to attract the armature so that the valve element is moved to a valve-closing position. A second solenoid is provided below the armature to generate an electromagnetic force to attract the armature so that the valve element is moved to a valve-opening position. An upper head is provided on a top of the cylinder head, the upper head having a through hole at a given location in the upper head, the through hole having an upper open end and a lower open end in the upper head. The first solenoid is fitted to the upper open end of the through hole and the second solenoid is fitted to the lower open end of the through hole, so that the first solenoid and the second solenoid are held by the upper head at given positions relative to the armature.

    摘要: An electromagnetic actuating system of an internal combustion engine is provided. The system can hold an armature in a fully closed position or a fully opened position when the engine is started while obviating a necessity of the initial actuation and effectively reducing power consumption of the system. The system includes an engine valve which functions as an intake valve or an exhaust valve of the internal combustion engine, an armature which moves with the engine valve, an electromagnet which attracts the armature in a direction of movement of the engine valve by being supplied with a current and a spring which presses the armature away from the electromagnet. A permanent magnet, which can exert a magnetic attracting force between the armature and the electromagnet, is provided. The system further includes a stop-time current controller which shuts off the current supplied to the electromagnet, after controlling the current supplied to the electromagnet until the armature is attracted to the electromagnet by the magnetic attracting force of the permanent magnet, when a request to stop the internal combustion engine is generated.

    摘要: An electromagnetic actuating system having a valve member is provided. This system can improve a response of movement of the valve member while reducing power consumption of the system. The electromagnetic actuating system includes an armature which moves with the valve member, an electromagnet which attracts the armature in a direction of movement of the valve member by being supplied with a current, and a spring which presses the armature away from the electromagnet. A permanent magnet which can exert a magnetic attracting force between the armature and the electromagnet is provided. A current controller supplies a release current to the electromagnet so that magnetic flux is generated in a direction opposite to a direction of magnetic flux generated by the permanent magnet when the armature is released from the electromagnet. The valve member functions as an intake valve or an exhaust valve of an internal combustion engine, and the current controller controls an amount of the release current in accordance with an operating state of the internal combustion engine.

    摘要: A control apparatus for a solenoid-operated valve that functions as an intake or exhaust valve of an internal combustion engine includes a lower spring biasing a valve body of the valve in a valve closing direction and upper and lower coils disposed above and below an armature for generating electromagnetic forces to move the valve body in the valve closing and valve opening directions. After a request for closing of the valve body is made, command currents are supplied to the upper and lower coils in suitable timing to increase the speed at which the valve body is seated against a valve seat. As the valve body rotates about its axis due to the action of the lower spring in the course of moving toward the valve seat, it is possible to crush and remove carbon between the valve body and the valve seat without causing local wear of the valve body.
