A head water jacket includes an inter-exhaust-port-wall water channel between a first exhaust entrance port wall and a second exhaust entrance port wall. A cylinder head includes a cooling water injection passage provided at a bottom wall of the cylinder head. The cooling water injection passage is positioned on the exhaust end side, and includes a passage entrance provided on the exhaust end side, and a passage exit directed toward the inter-exhaust-port-wall water channel. An exhaust port wall includes a heat dissipation fin extending from a first exhaust entrance port wall toward an exhaust end. The space between the heat dissipation fin and a second exhaust entrance port wall forms a water channel entrance of the inter-exhaust-port-wall water channel.-

摘要: Aspects of the present disclosure are directed to, for example, a cylinder head for an internal combustion engine. In one embodiment of the present disclosure, the cylinder head includes at least one upper partial cooling chamber, a lower partial cooling chamber, an intermediate deck and at least one flow connection. The upper and lower cooling chamber are separated from one another by the intermediate deck. The intermediate deck having an element of single-wall design which extends into a combustion chamber and penetrates the intermediate deck. The at least one flow connection is positioned in the region of the element between the at least one upper and lower partial cooling chambers. The at least one flow connection formed by at least one recess on the element which tapers towards the one lower partial cooling chamber.

On condition that the temperature of the coolant has risen to a value at which the determining section determines that the temperature obtained by the obtaining section is higher than or equal to the forced-induction limiting control starting temperature, the forced-induction-device controlling section starts a forced-induction limiting control to lower a forced-induction pressure In the forced-induction limiting control, the forced-induction-device controlling section increases an extent of limiting of the forced induction as the temperature obtained by the obtaining section becomes closer to the boiling point.

摘要: A temperature control valve 10 for regulating the flow of coolant 15 in an automotive cooling system 11 that includes an engine 12 and a radiator 14. The temperature control valve 10 includes a valve body 40 having an inlet 42 and an outlet 46, a first valve assembly 100 that is movable between a closed position and an open position, and a chamber 74 that is adjacent to the first valve assembly 100. In the closed position of the first valve assembly 100, the inlet 42 of the valve body 100 is not in fluid communication with the outlet 46 of the valve body 100. In the open position of the first valve assembly 100, the inlet 42 of the first valve assembly 100 is in fluid communication with the outlet 46 of the first valve assembly 100. Fluid pressure within the chamber 74 is operable to move the first valve assembly 100 between the open position and the closed position. The temperature control valve 10 may include a second valve assembly 130 that is configured to regulate fluid pressure within the chamber 74 to thereby move the first valve assembly 100 between the open position and the closed position.

摘要: A cylinder head for a water-cooled multi-cylinder internal-combustion engine has two intake valves and outlet valves per cylinder. A cylinder head cooling chamber has inflow and outflow openings for coolant as well as a receiving opening for a spark plug. The receiving opening is arranged centrally relative to the cylinder head cooling chamber of a cylinder. On the inflow side in the cylinder head cooling chamber, a main cooling flow runs between the two outlet valves in the direction of the receiving opening for the spark plug, while two secondary cooling flows are provided at the two edge areas of the inflow side.
