Abstract:
A gas circuit breaker is provided, avoiding change in the position of a cover member and without weakening of the blow of gas to the arc in an arc discharge cavity even when a surface of the cover member in contact with the arc discharge cavity is damaged. The gas circuit breaker includes a contact ring, a holder attached to the contact ring, and extending to a path of arc-extinguishing gas that extinguishes an arc, and an electrically insulative cover member attached to the holder.
Abstract:
In order to provide an ultrasonic diagnostic apparatus and a sound speed correction method capable of performing sound speed correction without affecting real-time efficiency, the present invention is characterized in that a reference sound speed image signal is acquired by setting a reference sound speed and a different sound speed image signal is acquired by setting a different sound speed from the reference sound speed and that sound speed correction information is acquired by correcting reference sound speed information based on the reference sound speed image signal using different items of sound speed information based on the different sound speed image signal.
Abstract:
The present invention has an object of improving wear resistance of a thrust bearing portion. A pressure is generated by a dynamic pressure effect of a lubricating oil in a thrust bearing gap between a thrust bearing surface including dynamic pressure generating grooves and a smooth thrust receiving surface so as to rotatably support a shaft member in an axial direction. The thrust receiving surface is formed as a flat surface, whereas an inclined plane is provided on the thrust bearing surface so as to provide a reduced portion having a decreasing axial width in a radially outward direction in the thrust bearing gap.
Abstract:
Fire-extinguishing agent supplying equipment pressurizes a water-based fire-extinguishing agent and supplies the agent via a pipe; and the water-based fire-extinguishing agent is pressurized and supplied via the pipe to an electrification spray head installed in a protection area A, and the jetted particles of the fire-extinguishing agent are electrified and sprayed from the electrification spray head. A pulsed or alternating electrification voltage is applied to the electrification spray head from a voltage application unit 15, and an external electric field generated by applying the voltage between a water-side electrode unit and an induction electrode unit is applied to the fire-extinguishing agent in a jetting process to electrify the jetted particles.
Abstract:
Provided is a push-type connector having a structure for preventing an operational error of a lever member of the connector by an operator. A first operating part 35a of a first lever member 3a at a first position is positioned anterior to a second operating part 35b of a second lever member 3b at a third position, in relation to the pushing direction of the lever. Further, first operating part 35a of first lever member 3a projects further than second operating part 35b of second lever member 3b in the direction toward the front end of the lever or the operator side. Therefore, second lever member 3b is not likely to be an obstacle to the operation of first lever member 3a, and first lever member 3a is not likely to be an obstacle to the operation of second lever member 3b.
Abstract:
A tube-end device for fire extinguishment jets and sprays pressurized and fed water, seawater, or aqueous fire-extinguishing agent from a tube end. The tube-end device for fire extinguishment is provided with: an induction electrode unit disposed in an emission space side of a nozzle unit positioned inside the tube end; a water-side electrode unit disposed at a position of the interior of a tube main body in contact with fire-extinguishing water; a voltage applying device which applies an external electric field, which is generated by applying a voltage between the induction electrode unit and the water-side electrode unit, to the water, seawater, or fire-extinguishing agent in the process of jetting from the nozzle unit, electrically charges jetted particles, and emit the particles; and a battery which supplies power to the voltage applying device.
Abstract:
An exposure apparatus includes a projection optical system that projects a pattern of a reticle onto a wafer, a vacuum chamber in which the projection optical system is disposed, a partition provided in the vacuum chamber and dividing a first space (which is a space where at least a portion of the projection optical system exists) and a second space (which is a space other than the first space) from each other, a gas supplying unit that supplies gas to the first space, and a sealant that reduces flow of the gas supplied through a pipe into the second space.
Abstract:
An exposure apparatus exposes a substrate to light via a reticle in a vacuum. A projection optical system projects a pattern of the reticle onto the substrate, a stage holds the substrate and moves, and first and second partitions define an exhaust space between a first space accommodating at least a part of the projection optical system and a stage space accommodating the stage. The first partition includes a first opening to make the light pass between the first space and the exhaust space, and the second partition includes a second opening to make the light pass between the exhaust space and the stage space. A first supply system supplies fluid into the stage space, and a first exhaust system recovers fluid from the stage space through the second opening and the exhaust space. A pressure in the exhaust space is lower than those in the first space and the stage space.

The present invention has an object of improving wear resistance of a thrust bearing portion. A pressure is generated by a dynamic pressure effect of a lubricating oil in a thrust bearing gap C between a thrust bearing surface 11a including dynamic pressure generating grooves and a smooth thrust receiving surface 11b so as to rotatably support a shaft member 2 in an axial direction. The thrust receiving surface 11b is formed as a flat surface, whereas an inclined plane 17 is provided on the thrust bearing surface 11a so as to provide a reduced portion 15 having a decreasing axial width in a radially outward direction in the thrust bearing gap C.
