Abstract: An electrostatic powdering robot for a powder booth, the robot including a projector for performing electrostatic powder coating. In order to reduce the time required for powder removal from the booth and facilitate automation of powder removal, the robot further includes a robotic arm, which is articulated and which carries the projector for positioning the projector, as well as a blower, for blowing a powder removal fluid, preferably air, the robotic arm carrying the blower to position the blower inside the booth, so that the blower blows the powder removal fluid onto a surface to be de-powdered inside the electrostatic powdering booth and thereby removes the residual powder coating the surface to be de-powdered.

Abstract: The invention generally relates to systems and methods for increasing reaction yield. In certain embodiments, the invention provides systems for increasing a yield of a chemical reaction that include a pneumatic sprayer configured to generate a liquid spray discharge from a solvent. The solvent includes a plurality of molecules, a portion of which react with each other within the liquid spray discharge to form a reaction product. The system also includes a collector positioned to receive the liquid spray discharge including the unreacted molecules and the reaction product. The system also includes a recirculation loop connected from the collector to the pneumatic sprayer in order to allow the unreacted molecules and the reaction product to be recycled through the pneumatic sprayer, thereby allowing a plurality of the unreacted molecules to react with each other as the unreacted molecules cycle again through the system.

Abstract: Provided is a resist film forming device which uses an electrostatic spray device which is capable of forming a thin film with a uniform thickness on a workpiece. A resist film forming device (100), which forms a resist film (108) on a substrate by electrostatic spraying, comprises: a nozzle (102) which, upon application of a prescribed voltage, sprays liquid particles which form the raw material for a resist film (108) toward a substrate (105) having stepped portions (105a); a driving means (111) for causing relative movement of the substrate (105) or the nozzle (102); and a control means (110) for controlling such that the resist film (108) is formed on the substrate (105) having the stepped portions (105a) by the liquid particles.
