摘要: According to one embodiment, an ultrasound diagnostic apparatus can be connected with an ultrasound probe including a plurality of elements adapted to transmit ultrasound signals and to receive reflected wave signals from a subject or from the air. The ultrasound diagnostic apparatus includes processing circuitry. The processing circuitry diagnoses states of the elements based on a feature value of the reflected wave signal. The processing circuitry also prepares, based on the states, deterioration degree information indicative of the deterioration degrees of the elements. The processing circuitry superimposes the deterioration degree information onto an ultrasound image of the subject and causes a display to display a resultant image.

摘要: An ultrasound system is configured to perform periodic self-testing of the system's hardware components. Results of the self-testing are stored on the ultrasound system in a data log, and periodically uploaded to a self-test database. The self-test database is sorted, then analyzed by engineers of the ultrasound system manufacturer to discern variances or trends in ultrasound system hardware performance or operation. As a result of the analysis, updated or improved self-test programs are developed by the system manufacturer and uploaded to and installed on ultrasound systems of the installed base of systems.

摘要: A device is for estimating the central blood pressure of a subject. The device comprises a sensor patch comprising an array of sensors configured to measure an indication of the blood pressure of a peripheral blood vessel and perform ultrasound imaging of the peripheral blood vessel. The device also comprises a processor configured to obtain a peripheral pressure signal comprising a pressure waveform from the indication of the blood pressure from the sensor patch and derive an image of the peripheral blood vessel from the signals received from the sensor patch. A vessel diameter is determined from the image of the peripheral blood vessel over time comprising a vessel diameter waveform and an estimate of the central blood pressure of the subject is derived from the pressure waveform and/or the vessel diameter waveform.

In particular, the auxiliary equipment is a needle, catheter or endoscope.

摘要: A workflow is disclosed to accurately register ultrasound imaging to co-modality imaging. The ultrasound imaging is segmented with a convolutional neural network to detect a surface of the object. The ultrasound imaging is calibrated to reflect a variation in propagation speed of the ultrasound waves through the object by minimizing a cost function that sums the differences between the first and second steered frames, and compares the first and second steered frames of the ultrasound imaging with a third frame of the ultrasound imaging that is angled between the first and second steered frames. The ultrasound imaging is temporarily calibrated with respect to a tracking coordinate system by creating a point cloud of the surface and calculating a set of projection values of the point cloud to a vector. The ultrasound imaging, segmented and calibrated, is automatically registered to the co-modality imagine.

摘要: Methods and apparatus are provided for assessing endothelial function in a mammal. In certain embodiments the methods involve using a cuff to apply pressure to an artery in a subject to determine a plurality of baseline values for a parameter related to endothelial function as a function of applied pressure (Pm); b) applying a stimulus to the subject; and applying external pressure Pm to the artery to determine a plurality of stimulus-effected values for the parameter related to endothelial function as a function of applied pressure (Pm); where the baseline values are determined from measurements made when said mammal is not substantially effected by said stimulus and differences in said baseline values and said stimulus-effected values provide a measure of endothelial function in said mammal.
