    摘要: An apparatus for coupling a heat-generating device to a heat-removing device. The apparatus includes a thermally-conductive plate having a first side and a second side. The apparatus also includes a plurality of first channels that intersect with a plurality of second channels formed on at least one of the first side and the second side. The formation of the first channels and the second channels weaken the thermally-conductive plate. The apparatus further includes a plurality of protrusions formed by the intersection of the first channels and the second channels. The protrusions are deformable by coupling the thermally-conductive plate between the heat-generating device and the heat-removing device.

    摘要: An interface device for coupling an electrical device to a metal junction includes a conformable conductor plate having a first side and a second side. The interface device also includes a plurality of first channels that intersect with a plurality of second channels formed on at least one of the first side and the second side.     摘要: A lightweight renewable hand-held tool that may be easily renewed in the field including a tool head having a tapered shaft, an expandable sleeve, a hollow handle, and a movement assembly for moving the expandable sleeve back and forth along the tapered shaft in response to a rotation of the hollow handle. The expandable sleeve includes a tapered interior that slidably mates with the tapered shaft. Consequently, rotation of the hollow handle adjustably expands the expandable sleeve, forming a tight fit between the tapered shaft and the interior of the hollow handle. The preferred movement assembly is a threaded nut that engages a threaded stud located at a lower end of the tapered shaft. An antirotation fastener is preferably used to prevent the hollow handle from thereafter rotating during use of the tool.

    摘要: An object support rack comprising a plate adapted for engagement on a wall or other similar relatively flat surface and preferably a vertically disposed surface. The plate of the object support rack has a socket which receives a post. This post may extend angularly outwardly from the plate of the object support rack. In addition, elbows may be provided for changing the angulated position of a portion of the post with respect to the object support rack. A plurality of the object support racks may be mounted in abutting relationship or otherwise, a closely spaced apart relationship on the wall for supporting the plurality of objects. Foam covers extend over the posts and also can extend over a portion of the plates to protect the objects supported thereon. Moreover the object support racks can be mounted essentially in any position on a wall, depending upon the objects which are to be supported.

    摘要: An electrical system as described herein is suitable for use in an electric or hybrid vehicle. The electrical system includes electrical devices, such as power transistors, coupled to an electrically and thermally conductive bus bar. The respective nodes of the electrical devices are coupled to the bus bar such that the bus bar carries a combined signal generated by the electrical devices. The bus bar is also thermally coupled to a conduction heat transfer system, such as a liquid cooled cold plate. Thus, the bus bar functions as both an electrical conduit and a conduction-based heat sink for the electrical system.
