    摘要: The present invention is directed to an annealing apparatus adapted for performing anneal processing with respect to a magneto optical recording medium, which comprises a diffraction optical unit (3) for optically separating light beams emitted from a laser light source (1) into first light beams which are the 0 (zero)-th order diffracted light beams and second and third light beams which are the first order diffracted light beams, an object lens (5) for converging the first light beams to irradiate the first light beams thus converged onto magnetic layers of guide grooves or land portions forming both sides of the guide grooves, and for converging the second and third light beams to irradiate the second and third light beams thus converged onto magnetic layers in the vicinity of the boundary portions between guide grooves and land portions, and a biaxial actuator unit (6) for controlling the object lens (5) on the basis of linear characteristic of a first tracking error signal generated on the basis of intensity distribution of light quantities of rays of return light of the first light beams so that the first light beams follow the guide grooves or the land portions.

    摘要: A laser beam from an LD 11 is irradiated onto a magnetooptic disk 33 by a predetermined power for a heat treatment. After the heat treatment, the laser beam of a power smaller than the power upon heat treatment is irradiated to the heat-treated area. Reflection light of the laser beam of the small power enters photodetectors 24 and 26 and reflection light amounts of a P wave and an S wave are detected, respectively. A differential detecting circuit 27 detects a level of a magnetooptic signal corresponding to the heat-treated area on the basis of the reflection light amounts of the P wave and the S wave. A controller 28 determines whether or not the magnetooptic signal level detected by the differential detecting circuit 28 lies within a permissible range. If it is out of the range, the power of the laser beam to execute the heat treatment is adjusted and the process of a magnetooptic disk is stopped or a message showing such a fact is displayed, or the like.

    摘要: A magneto-optical recording/reproducing method is disclosed which causes a laser beam to be emitted to a disc recording medium having information recorded thereon earlier by magnetic field modulation, the laser beam causing the disc recording medium to develop a temperature distribution such as to generate a driving force for moving a domain wall of a magnetic domain in the medium so that the magnetic domain smaller in diameter than a spot of the laser beam is expanded sufficiently to let information recorded in the domain be detected. The method comprises the steps of: recording information to the disc recording medium while rotating the medium in a first rotating direction; and reproducing the information that was recorded to the disc recording medium in the recording step while rotating the medium in a second rotating direction reverse to the first rotating direction.

The displacement layer is defined by a perpendicular magnetic film that is relatively smaller in domain-wall coercivity and that is greater in domain-wall mobility than the recording layer and the disconnecting layer is defined by a magnetic layer that is lower in Curie temperature than the displacement layer and the recording layer. An optimum offset value is set for causing tracking of the optical head to a recording track provided on the magneto-optical storage medium.

    摘要: First, the present inventors assessed the effect of the compound represented by formula (III) below on Huh-7 cells infected with HBV, and demonstrated that the compound alone had an anti-HBV effect in vitro.Formula (III) Then, the present inventors revealed that the HBV replication-suppressing effect of PEG-IFN is enhanced in chimeric mice having a human liver infected with genotype C or A HBV when PEG-IFN is used in combination with the compound represented by formula (III) above. The present inventors also revealed that the HBV replication-suppressing effect of Entecavir is enhanced in chimeric mice having a human liver infected with genotype C HBV (wild-type and Entecavir-resistant strains) when Entecavir is used in combination with the compound represented by formula (III) above. In addition, the present inventors revealed that the compound represented by formula (III) above exerts the anti-HBV effect not only against wild-type HBV strains but also against Entecavir- and/or Lamivudine-resistant HBV strains.
