    摘要： The present invention provides a polarizer plate including at least a protective layer A, a polarizer, and a protective layer B in that order, the protective layer A including at least layers a and b respectively including a thermoplastic resin as a main component, the layer a having a flexural modulus higher than that of the layer b; and a liquid crystal display device including a light source, an incident-side polarizer plate, a liquid crystal cell, and an exit-side polarizer plate in that order, the incident-side polarizer plate and/or the exit-side polarizer plate being the polarizer plate of the present invention. According to the present invention, a polarizer plate exhibiting high tenacity and high surface hardness and a liquid crystal display device including the polarizer plate are provided.

    摘要： Provided are a polarization plate which has a high mechanical strength, which does not impair a visibility even under a high temperature and high humidity, which is excellent in flexibility and abrasion resistance, and which reduces a visible disturbance such as color unevenness due to a size change, as well as a liquid crystal display device using the polarization plate. A film composed of a plurality of layers composed mainly of thermoplastic resins is used as a first protection film used for a visible side of the polarization plate, and at least one surface layer of this first protection film is composed mainly of an acrylic resin. Furthermore, a second protection film having a specific property is disposed at a side of a liquid crystal cell.

    摘要： A reflection preventing layered product is provided by laminating a high refractive index layer and a low refractive index layer, which has a refractive index lower than that of the high refractive index layer, in that order on a transparent plastic film, directly or through another layer. The low refractive index layer has a surface resistance of 1.0×1010 ohm/square inch or less, a total light remittance of 94% or more, and a refractive index of 1.25-1.37. An optical member provided with the reflection preventing layered product is also provided. This optical member is preferably a polarizing plate with reflection preventing function used for a liquid crystal display. The reflection preventing layered product excels in transparency, mechanical strength, antistaticity, and reflection preventing characteristics.
