    Abstract: Described herein are systems and methods for capturing images of a field and performing agricultural data analysis of the images. In one embodiment, a computer system for monitoring field operations includes a database for storing agricultural image data including images of at least one stage of crop development that are captured with at least one of an apparatus and a remote sensor moving through a field. The computer includes at least one processing unit that is coupled to the database. The at least one processing unit is configured to execute instructions to analyze the captured images, to determine relevant images that indicate a change in at least one condition of the crop development, and to generate a localized view map layer for viewing the field at the at least one stage of crop development based on at least the relevant captured images.

    Abstract: Described herein are a system and methods for identifying fields and tasks (e.g., agricultural fields and tasks). In one embodiment, system includes a display device to display a representation of one or more agricultural fields with geo-referenced boundaries and to receive one or more inputs for identifying at least one agricultural field with agricultural field identification information. A processing system is communicatively coupled to the display device. The processing system is configured to automatically transmit raw data including measurement data and location component data to the display device in response to a machine or an implement starting and to automatically identify location component data of the raw data. The processing system is further configured to automatically assign raw data to at least one agricultural field.

In one embodiment, a data processing system of a machine includes a data transfer and processing module that communicates bi-directionally with different types of controllers and sensors mounted on the machine or an implement attached to the machine. The data transfer and processing module is configured to execute instructions to receive signals from these controllers and sensors, process these signals, and generate data for monitoring and controlling field operations of the machine. At least one display device is coupled to the data transfer and processing module. The at least one display device displays the data for monitoring and controlling field operations of the machine or implement to a user or operator.

    Abstract: A system for implementing a trial in one or more fields is provided. In an embodiment, a system receives field data for a plurality of agricultural fields, identifies one or more target agricultural fields, and sends, to a field manager computing device associated with the one or more target agricultural fields, a trial participation request. The server receives data indicating acceptance of the trial participation request from the field manager computing device. The server determines one or more locations on the one or more target agricultural fields for implementing a trial and sends data identifying the one or more locations to the field manager computing device. When the system receives application data, the system determines whether the one or more target agricultural fields are in compliance with the trial. The system receives result data for the trial and computes a benefit value for the trial.
