The switching unit 10 comprises one switched and one unswitched flow cross section 20 for each cylinder of the internal combustion engine, flap valves 12 and a shaft 27. The switched flow cross sections 20 can be closed and opened by flap valves 12 which are operated with the shaft 27, which is outside of the unswitched flow cross sections.

    摘要: An intake manifold (10) for a multi-cylinder internal combustion engine includes a tubular intake distributor (12) from which a plurality of long intake tubes (13) extend and lead to the individual cylinders. Short intake tubes (14) likewise extend from the intake distributor and open into the respective associated long intake tubes (13). The intake distributor (12) and the long and short intake tubes (13, 14) are formed from a one-piece housing (11) which has a cavity (21) which intersects the short intake tubes (14). In this cavity (21) a control element (15) is installed, which includes flaps (16), flap frames (17), a shaft (19) and a control element frame (18). By moving the shaft (19) either rotationally or translationally, the short intake tubes (14) can be opened or closed. In contrast to arrangements known in the prior art, the control element (15) has no sealing elements which can catch or jam during assembly. Additionally, the arrangement of the flaps (16) on a continuous shaft (19) provides a space-saving apparatus.

    摘要: An oil pan baffle is secured by a securing device on the oil pan. The securing device has an oil pan gasket with a gasket body matched to a sealing contour of an oil pan relative to a crankcase and securing elements that are connected to the gasket body and project inwardly away from an inner perimeter of the gasket body. The securing elements act on contact surfaces of the oil pan baffle, with which contact surfaces the oil pan baffle is positioned in receptacles of the oil pan, and exert pressure effecting secure fixation of the oil pan baffle on the oil pan when the oil pan gasket is compressed by mounting the oil pan on the crankcase.

    摘要: A filter device has a filter housing of connected housing parts with an inlet for unfiltered fluid and an outlet for filtered fluid. A filter element arranged in the filter housing separates the inlet seal-tightly from the outlet. A releasable anchoring device connects the housing parts. The anchoring device has a rotary insert having a guide and anchoring section and an interacting receptacle with an insertion/removal section. The rotary insert of the first housing part is arranged in the receptacle of the second housing part. The guide and anchoring section has a first rotary state in which it is positively guided for gliding in the insertion/removal section to guide the housing parts when being connected or separated. In a second rotary state the guiding and anchoring section is secured in an anchoring section of the receptacle for securing the housing parts. The insertion/removal section passes into the anchoring section.

    摘要: An oil pan for an internal combustion engine has a casing having a first oil chamber and a second oil chamber that are separated from one another. A valve connects the first and second chambers with one another in an open position of the valve. The valve is switched temperature dependent, wherein the valve is closed at a temperature below a switching temperature. An outlet opening communicates with the first oil chamber. The first oil chamber has a first oil volume and the second oil chamber has a second oil volume, wherein the first oil volume is smaller than the second oil volume. The outlet opening is positioned in an exterior wall of the first oil chamber and provides a connecting opening for connecting an oil cooler to be connected to an exterior wall of the casing.
