    摘要: A scanning force microscope having a sensor head and a base wherein a moveable sample holder is housed in the base and is positioned relative to a probe housed in the sensor head, such sample being monitored by an optical deflection detection system. The detection system is configured to provide direct visual observation of the probe with respect to the sample. The mirror of the detection system is mounted in a cut away portion of a sphere and defines the axis of rotation of a kinematic mount, such providing ease of fine adjustment of the detection system. The sensor head is in communication with the base by a stage kinematic mount, such providing ease of position adjustment of the sensor head with respect to the base.

    摘要: An organic electroluminescence display including: a gate line disposed on a substrate; a data line crossing the gate line; a TFT connected to the gate and data lines; a capacitor connected to the TFT; and an OLED connected to the TFT. A gate electrode of the TFT and a lower electrode of the capacitor are patterned from a first layer. A gate insulating layer disposed on the gate electrode and an insulating island disposed on the gate line are patterned from a second layer. A semiconductor island disposed on the insulating island and an active layer disposed on the gate insulating layer are patterned from a third layer. An insulating layer is disposed on the TFTs, the capacitor, and between the semiconductor island and the data line. An upper electrode of the capacitor, source/drain electrodes of the TFT, and the data line are patterned from a fourth layer.

The thin film transistors in the pixel array portion and the driving circuit portion have different resistance values in their gate regions or drain regions than each other, or have different geometric structures than each other. One thin film transistor has a zigzag shape in its gate region or drain region or has an offset region.

    摘要: An organic electro luminescence (EL) display with low light transmittance material removed from an emission region. The organic EL display comprises a substrate having the emission region and a TFT region. A TFT is formed on the substrate in the TFT region and includes an active layer having source/drain regions, a gate electrode formed on a gate insulating layer, and source/drain electrodes electrically coupled to the source/drain regions. A passivation layer is formed in the TFT region only and it includes a via hole exposing one of the source/drain electrodes. An organic EL element is formed in the emission region and is electrically coupled to one of the source/drain electrodes exposed through the via hole.

    摘要: An organic electroluminescent display has: anode electrodes of R, G and B unit pixels formed separate from each other on a substrate; organic thin-film layers of the R, G and B unit pixels formed on the anode electrodes; and a cathode electrode formed over an entire surface of the substrate. The anode electrode of at least one unit pixel, among the R, G and B unit pixels, has a thickness different from anode electrodes of the other unit pixels. The anode electrode of each of the unit pixels comprises a first film having a high reflectivity and a second film for adjusting a work function. The second film of at least one unit pixel, among the unit pixels, has a thickness different from the second films of the other unit pixels. The second film of the R unit pixel is thicker than the second films of the other unit pixels.

    摘要: An organic electroluminescent display in which a black matrix with a concentration gradient of a transparent material and a metallic material is formed on the same surface as a pixel electrode. The black matrix and a pixel electrode of the organic electroluminescent display are formed using only one masking operation. The black matrix has a concentration gradient of a continuous gradient structure in which constituents of the transparent material are continuously decreased while constituents of the metallic material are continuously increased as a thickness of the black matrix is increased, a step gradient structure in which the constituents of the transparent material are gradually decreased while the constituents of the metallic material are gradually increased as the thickness of the black matrix is increased, or a multi-gradient structure in which the continuous gradient structure and/or the step gradient structure are repeated.
