摘要： A snowmobile includes an engine, an engine power controller, an operation portion, an operation input detector, an operation amount detector, and a control portion. The control portion does not control the engine power controller based on an amount detected by the operation amount detector in a preliminary zone in which the operation amount detected by the operation amount detector is not more than a first operation amount. The control portion controls the engine power controller based on an operation amount detected by the operation amount detector if the operation amount is greater than the first operation amount. A second operation amount smaller than the first operation amount is set in the preliminary zone and the control portion determines whether operation of the operation portion is carried out based on whether operation corresponding to the second operation amount is detected by the operation input detector.

摘要： An air intake device of an engine includes a throttle body provided in an intake passage of an engine, a bypass passage arranged to connect an upstream side and a downstream side of a throttle valve disposed in the throttle body, an idle number-of-revolutions control device that is disposed in the bypass passage and that controls the quantity of air passing through the bypass passage and flowing into the downstream side of the throttle valve according to the state of the engine, and a water collection portion that is disposed on the upstream side of the idle number-of-revolutions control device in the bypass passage and that is constructed so as to include a space portion connecting with the bypass passage. This structure enables smooth operation of the idle number-of-revolutions control device and prevents damage thereto caused by water in a bypass passage.

The engine comprises a crankcase, a crankshaft rotatably journaled within the crankcase, a cylinder block assembly extending from the crankcase, and a cylinder head assembly connected to an end of the cylinder block opposite the crankcase. A cam drive mechanism including at least one camshaft is rotatably journaled within the cylinder head assembly. A transmission is coupled to the crankshaft to transmit power from the engine to the drive assembly. The cam drive mechanism is connected to the crankshaft at a first end portion of the crankshaft. The transmission is connected to the crankshaft at a second end portion of the crankshaft opposite the first end portion.
