摘要: The invention relates to a method by which a structure, e.g. a microstructure, is formed into a surface comprising a nanostructure during the fabrication of the structure. The method of fabrication of the structure is preferably embossing, and the invention thus describes methods by which a nanostructure is protected from being destroyed by the embossing process.

摘要: The present invention relates to a method by which a controlled source of heat (preferably a laser 3) generates a pulsating vapor bubble 4 in an enclosed liquid. The pulsating rate (the frequency) is preferably in the ultrasonic region, whereby cavitation occurs in the liquid. The cavitation effect will cause disruption of suspended components such as cells or bacterial spores. The ultrasonic disruption of cellular components is known as lysing by sonication.
