    摘要: An iron-zinc alloy electro-galvanized steel sheet having a plurality of iron-zinc alloy coatings, which comprises: at least one iron-zinc alloy coating as the lower layer, formed on the surface of a steel sheet, and at least two iron-zinc alloy coatings as the upper layer, formed on the at least one iron-zinc alloy coating as the lower layer. The ratio of iron content to the coating weight of each of the at least one iron-zinc alloy coating as the lower layer is within the range of from 1 to 15 wt. %, and the total coating weight of the at least one iron-zinc alloy coating as the lower layer is within the range of from 1 to 50 g/m.sup.2 per side of the steel sheet. The ratio of iron content to the coating weight of each of the at least two iron-zinc alloy coatings as the upper layer is over 15 wt. %, the ratio of iron content to the coating weight gradually increases from the innermost coating toward the outermost coating of the at least two iron-zinc alloy coatings as the upper layer, the difference in the ratio or iron content to the coating weight between two adjacent coatings of the at least two iron-zinc alloy coatings as the upper layer is within the range of from 1 to 15 wt. %, and the total coating weight of the at least two iron-zinc alloy coatings as the upper layer is within the range of from 1 to 40 g/m.sup.2 per side of the steel sheet. The difference in the ratio of iron content to the coating weight between the uppermost coating of the at least one iron-zinc alloy coating as the lower layer and the lowermost coating of the at least two iron-zinc alloy coatings as the upper layer is within the range of from 1 to 15 wt. %. The sum of the total coating weight of the at least one iron-zinc alloy coating as the lower layer and the total coating weight of the at least two iron-zinc alloy coatings as the upper layer is within the range of from 10 to 75 wt. % per side of the steel sheet.

    摘要: An apparatus for removing, by means of a scraper, an electroplating metal deposited onto the surface of a conductor roll for electroplating. The above-mentioned removal is accomplished by pressing the scraper (23) arranged near the conductor roll (5) against the conductor roll (5). The start and the end of the removal can properly be controlled on the basis of a value of potential difference between a reference electrode (21) immersed in the electroplating solution and the conductor roll (5), as measured by means of a potentiometer (25). The scraper (23) return-travels, together with the reference electrode (21), in the axial direction of the conductor roll (5) by the action of a scraper moving mechanism (30).

    摘要: It is an object to provide a process for manufacturing galvannealed steel sheets exhibiting excellent anti-powdering property when press formed, and uniform frictional properties in a coil. A steel strip is galvanized in a bath having a low aluminum content after entering it at a high temperature as defined in relation to the aluminum content of the both, so that the formation of a .zeta. phase may be promoted. Then, the strip is heated for alloying in a high-frequency induction heating furnace so as to have a temperature not exceeding 495.degree. C. when leaving the furnace to yield a plated steel strip having a coating containing a uniformly distributed .zeta. phase. After such heat treatment and cooling, the strip can be plated with an iron or iron-alloy top coating having an iron content of at least 50% and a coating weight of at least 1 g/m.sup.2 to achieve an improved press formability.
