摘要： A surface light source device which illuminates a transmission-type liquid crystal display unit from the back surface includes P×Q surface light source units with individually controlled light sources. Each of the light sources includes a plurality of light-emitting element units. Each of the light-emitting element units includes at least one red light-emitting element that emits red light, at least one green light-emitting element that emits green light, and at least one blue light-emitting element that emits blue light. The center of mass of a luminance profile based on each of a plurality of red light-emitting elements, a plurality of green light-emitting elements, and a plurality of blue light-emitting elements in each surface light source unit substantially coincides with the center of mass of the surface light source unit.

摘要： A method of producing a chip inductor including the steps of inserting a conductive wire made of a metallic wire into a metallic mold, supporting both end portions of the conductive wire on support portions provided on inner surfaces of the metallic mold so as to position the conductive wire in the approximate center portion of the metallic mold, casting magnetic ceramic slurry into the metallic mold, molding the ceramic slurry case in the metallic mold by wet pressing to obtain a molding body having the conductive wire embedded therein, firing the molding body, and forming external electrodes on both end surfaces of the fired magnetic core such that the external electrodes are connected to both end portions of the conductive wire.

摘要： An external electrode is formed on an outer surface of a ceramic molded product. The external electrode consists of an inner layer and an outer layer. The inner layer is composed of conductive material. The outer layer is composed of conductive material and glass material. In a process for producing the ceramic molded product, first, by molding a ceramic material a molded product is formed. On outer surfaces of the molded product, a conductive paste containing copper or the like is coated. Furthermore, on the conductive paste, a conductive paste containing a glass frit is coated. By baking the molded product onto which these two kinds of conductive paste are coated, ceramic electronic parts having an external electrode of 2-layer structure is obtained.

摘要： A hearth structure of an oxygen-bottom-blowing converter comprises hearth bricks including a number of brick row units, each of which is provided with or without one tuyere therein to eliminate thermal stresses otherwise be caused by two tuyeres included in one brick row unit. The hearth bricks preferably include at least one row of bricks not including a tuyere arranged between the brick row units. Bricks around tuyeres are unburned magnesia-carbon or magnesia-dolomite-carbon bricks including an amount of carbon 7-35%, preferably 10-30% or the most preferably 20% by weight and including magnesia or magnesia-dolomite as grains and thicknesses of refractory mortar as joints between the bricks corresponding to 0.5-2.5% of the maximum width of the bricks, thereby improving the durability of the hearth structure and hence the converter.
