The objective of this invention is to provide a recording material that can be recorded by ink with water-soluble dye, particularly to provide an ink jet recording sheet, which provides an excellent combination of in ink absorbency, ink coloration, light resistance, water resistance and surface gloss. One subject of the invention is an ink jet recording sheet having on an ink-receiving support an image preserving layer comprising anionic colloidal silica and zinc oxide particulates with an average particle size of about 15 to 380 nm and having a 75 degree specular glossiness of at least about 25% at the surface. Another subject of the invention is an ink jet recording sheet having on an ink-receiving support, in succession, an image preserving layer comprising anionic colloidal silica and zinc oxide particulates with an average particle size of about 15 to 380 nm and a fixing layer comprising cationic colloidal silica and cationic polymer electrolyte.

Provided is a cast-coated pressure-sensitive adhesive sheet which hardly causes a curling trouble after ink jet recording which comprises a cast-coated recording paper, a pressure-sensitive adhesive layer and a release coated paper laminated via the pressure-sensitive adhesive layer on the side opposite to the recording layer, with the adhesive sheet having a difference between the two characteristic values (A) and (B) within the range of 0.00 to 0.10%, expressed in absolute value, wherein the characteristic value (A) is an irreversible shrinkage factor of the cast-coated recording paper in the CD direction determined under an environment that the relative humidity thereof is raised to 90% from 35% and then lowered to 35% and the characteristic value (B) is a shrinking rate of the release coated paper in the CD direction determined under a condition that the relaltive humidity of the environment is changed from 75% to 60% in the course of lowering the relative humidity from 90% to 35%.

Jumpers 8 formed of an electrically conductive material are formed on a surface of a substrate 2, and thereafter an insulating film 6 is provided so as to cover the jumpers 8 and the substrate 2, and first translucent electrodes 3 and second translucent electrodes 4 are provided on the insulating film 6 so as to form a matrix. The first translucent electrodes 3 aligned in the leftward/rightward direction in the drawings are electrically connected to each other by the jumpers 8 via through holes 7 formed in the insulating film 6. On the other hand, the second translucent electrodes 4 aligned in the direction orthogonal to the surface of a sheet are connected to each other by connecting portions 5 which are formed by patterning so as to be integrated with the second translucent electrodes 4. Since the jumpers 8 for connecting among the first translucent electrodes 3 are formed on the substrate 2, the jumper 8 can be prevented from becoming conspicuous as viewed from the surface side.
