摘要: A first control device regarding a running stability of a vehicle, such as an anti-skid braking system, a four wheel steering system, a four wheel driving device and a second control device for automatically avoiding the vehicle from being in a dangerous state, such as an automatic braking device, an automatic steering device are provided. Further provided is a fail judging device for judging a fail time when the first control device improperly works. The control for avoiding a danger by the second control device is restricted when the fail judging device judges the fail time of the first control device. Thereby, when the first control device fails, measures to automatically avoid the danger independent of a driver's intention by such as an automatic braking, an automatic steering, is not taken. This previously prevents the vehicle from being unstable.

摘要: A multiplex data communication system including a number of communication nodes interconnected through a transmission path, each of which includes a data transmitting/receiving circuit providing a reception signal representative of normal data reception from another communication node and a transmission signal representative of normal data transmission therefrom, and a data operation circuit for controlling an electronic equipment unit associated with each communication node based on the data from the other communication node and generating the data relating to each communication node which is transmitted by the data transmitting/receiving circuit, the data operation circuit making a judgement of normality of a data communication function of each communication node based on at least one of the data reception signal and data transmission signal.

The projection forms a recess which houses a first electronic control unit (20) under the third electronic control unit (40) and has a lower opening. The third electronic control unit (40) and a control panel (10) are electrically connected to each other via connectors (13, 43). A second electronic control unit (30) is placed on the upper surface of the third electronic control unit (40), and the first and third electronic control units (20, 40) and the second and third electronic control units (30, 40) are respectively detachably connected to each other via connectors.
