摘要： An apparatus for producing a plastic molded article or product for use in an optical device is a mold assembly. The mold assembly includes a pair of molds having an inner mold surface forming a cavity with a preselected volume into which a molten molding material is injected via a gate or sprue to fill the cavity and thereby form a molded product having a sink surface and at least one mirror surface after the molten molding material has cooled. The inner mold surface includes at least one transfer surface portion against which the at least one mirror surface of the molded product is formed, and at least one non-transfer surface portion against which the sink surface portion of the molded product is formed. The mold assembly also includes at least one vent hole, at least one bore in communication with the vent hole so that a preselected air pressure is applied to the molten molding material in the cavity via the bore and the vent hole, and at least one exhaust hole adjacent to, but spaced from the vent hole. Thus, only a part of the molded article or product expected to sink is surely caused to sink while, e.g., a mirror surface is surely transferred to a desired part of the molded article or product.

摘要： A method of bonding dissimilar metals, a bonding structure formed by such a method and a bonding apparatus for performing such a method. The resulting bond is capable of preventing corrosion (e.g., electric corrosion) resulting from contact of the dissimilar metals and obtains a dissimilar material joint exhibiting anti-corrosive property and bonding strength at low costs. The method includes overlapping two materials made from dissimilar metals having a seal material interposed therebetween and discharging the seal material from a bonding interface and bonding the two materials in direct contact with each other.

摘要： A polyphase sequentially joined-segment coil of a rotary electric machine and a production method thereof are provided. The coil is made up of a plurality of conductor segments joined in series. Each of the conductor segments a head projecting from a stator core, a pair of legs, and a pair of ends projecting from the stator core. The heads are of two types: a large-sized head and a small-sized head extending inside the large-sized head. This structure permits the length of the conductor segments in an axial direction of the core to be decreased and improves cooling capability of the machine and coil losses.

The protective member is made of gel acrylic modification resin. An optical semiconductor module having a sufficient moisture resistance and being suitable for low cost is provided.

摘要： A synchronous electric machine includes a stator having an armature winding, a rotor having axially laminated magnetic sheets and a field coil, a plurality of permanent magnets disposed in the rotor to form N-pole and S-pole on the outer circumference of the rotor, and ribs and pins magnetically bypassing the N-poles and S-poles of the permanent magnets. The pins also attach the laminated magnetic sheets together as a unit. The rotor has a plurality of axially extending holes on its circumference for accommodating permanent magnets.
